This was 2 blocks from Peachtree & Marta which allows you to get anywhere you want, we went to a Braves game and even though we had a parking pass we took this route. TRAFFIC is horrific Downtown right now so plan ahead!

Location, pool hot tub.

Parking is always a pain in Atlanta.

The 260-room Holiday Inn Atlanta Downtown is a business oriented 11-story hotel adjacent to the citys Centennial Olympic Park and Merchandise Mart. Items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a morning newspaper delivered to your room and a shuttle service to the nearby MARTA (Atlantas rapid rail system) station. The location puts many city attractions within walking distance including the Georgia Aquarium, the Georgia World Congress Center and studio tours of CNN Center. The hotel has seven meeting rooms for business and social events that can handle up to 100 people.

The downtown location is the big plus for this Holiday Inn. Many previous visitors found the hotel comfortable and enjoyed their stay. Sadly, others said the property was pricey and dated. Families staying during the week said they felt out of place because of the business clients staying there. Leisure travelers coming at weekends, when the executives are at home, said the prices were better and they received friendly service.
