Extremely convenient to UGA and downtown restaurants and night spots. Very comfortable.

They charged me less than the rate you quoted.

I like this hotel that is conveniently located next to restaurants and shops in downtown. Lounge is nice yet small and people are very friendly.

The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet but was not included, as most hotels have now. The bathroom was small. The air conditioner was not the best, okay. Good for an overnighter.

Bathroom was too small. Was an older hotel- needs some upgrades. The air conditioner in the room was not very sufficient.

The 306-room Holiday Inn Athens is within walking distance of the University of Georgia and provides affordable quality accommodation equally suited to the business traveler or families on vacation. Items included with the room rate at this six-story hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room tea and coffee and parking. Many visitors to Athens, home of the Georgia Bulldogs, said they had an excellent stay at this Holiday Inn where they found the front desk to be very friendly and efficient and full of good ideas about the best places to eat it town. The rates were reasonable for the spotlessly clean accommodation. There were a few complainers who thought the property was in need of a facelift. Despite this most clients said they would recommend this hotel to family and friends and planned to stay here themselves on future visits to the area.
