Safe environment; friendly staff; very clean and comfortable; quiet; small work out area that is close to front desk with partial glass wall view and TV.

It was clean and updated. Free wireless internet and a business center with computers and fax available. I was impressed that the breakfast area had a couple of high chairs.

The hotel was located near a lot of familiar chain restaurants.

The shower head had low water pressure, but it did work.

Area landmarks and attractions include the University of Georgia, several golf courses, the State Botanical Gardens, Athens Area Technical College, the U.S. Navy Supply Corps School, UGA Museum of Art, UGA Performing Arts Center, the Sandy Creek Nature Center, Stegman Coliseum, the Ramsey Center and shopping at Georgia Square Mall and the Tanger Outlet Mall.

Several travelers who selected this Comfort Inn for their stay in Athens said the property offers great value and the rooms are well decorated, spotlessly clean and have large bathrooms. Many guests appreciated the friendly help their received from the front desk about places to shop and dine. There were some minor gripes that the property was close to a busy, noisy highway. Despite this most guests said this would be their hotel of choice on future to visits to the area and they had no problem recommending the property to others.
