Excellent hotel, from its appearance (which is outstanding), to the service (which is facilitated by friendly people at each station). The Saturday morning breakfast cook from Greenwood, South Carolina was an additional treat, just hours before leaving...he was but one example of the folk that work there that obviously love what they do. And, isn't that the secret to life? Outstanding!
Everything! From the time arrived, until my late checkout the following day...excellence!
The "gift" shop was a bit short on variety.

All the guestrooms, and two suites, have a work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, cable television with movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and two-line telephone with voicemail and speakerphone. The hotel has two swimming pools one inside, one outside and a large, well-equipped fitness center. Vidalias Southern Steakhouse, the on-site restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service is available from 5.30am until midnight. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, can arrange currency exchange, and has a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel. There is a full service business center, an ATM, coin-operated laundry, vending machines and a gift shop and newsstand.

This hotel gets great reviews from those who have stayed here. The spacious, finely decorated rooms with very large bathrooms were much appreciated. The employees were praised for being professional and efficient. Popular spots were the hotels large lobby bar, which always attracts a crowd and the swimming pools, which were a little quieter. One minor gripe: When the hotel gets busy it can be a long walk from the parking lot. At least, there is no charge for parking.
