The 62-room Quality Inn Merry Acres provides quality accommodation in elegant surroundings for the leisure and business traveler. The two-story pet-friendly motor inn is set in 10 acres of garden near the Albany Civic Center complex. Items included with the room rates are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, airport shuttle, local telephone calls, a managers cocktail reception on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and a copy of USA Today. Merry Acres was built in 1937 as a manor hour for a large plantation noted for its quail hunting. The house is now the reception office of the hotel and the guest rooms are clustered around the old building.
