The 82-room Hampton Inn Albany at Albany Mall provides affordable accommodation for the business and leisure travel in a town known as the pecan capital of the world. The two-story inn is 175 miles southwest of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and eight miles from Albany Airport. Items included in the room rate are high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls and a continental breakfast. The inn adjoins the Albany Mall a shopping complex with specialty stores and national chain stores. The property is close to the Albany Civil Rights Museum, Albany Museum of Art and the Flint Riverquarium.

Shoppers loved this location since they were able to walk to the Albany Mall. Several former clients said there were cheaper places to stay in the area but those places did not have so many amenities in their guest rooms. All the rooms are air-conditioned and there is a choice of two double beds or a king-size bed. Amenities include high-speed internet access, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, 25-inch television with cable channels, IDD telephone with data ports, easy to set alarm clock, electronic door locks and iron and ironing board.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and an exercise room. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are numerous fast food outlets and full-service restaurants nearby. On weekday mornings the hotel provides a breakfast-to-go bag for those in hurry to be on the road. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on local events and attractions. There is a fax machine and copies for guest use.
