A beautiful relaxed atmosphere for the leisure traveler in an out of the way location from the action in fort Lauderdale and the beaches. Great if you like to golf and relax at the spa with Inium like accommodations.

Beautiful bathrooms, very convenient refrigerator, nice golf course view from my window.

No balcony, very comfortable but not 4 star luxurious.

This 500-room luxury retreat has been totally renovated and is now the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Conference Center and Spa at Weston, Florida just a 20-minute drive from Fort Lauderdale Airport. There are 23-acres here to enjoy from watching swans on lakes to stunning swimming pool with waterfalls. Championship golf courses are nearby as well as the attractions of the Everglades and shopping in Fort Lauderdale. Equipped to handle business conferences the resort is ideally suited for family vacations and perfect for the more elderly guests who will enjoy the natural surroundings away from the sprawls of southern Florida cities.

The British colonial style rooms range in size from 400 to 500 square feet. There is a choice of one king or two double beds. Amentias include a flat-screen TV with cable channels, work desk with two chairs, marble bathroom with separate walk-in shower and hairdryer. The in-room safe is large enough to store a laptop and there is Internet access. There is an MP3 docking station, microwave oven, small refrigerator, coffee maker and dual line telephones.

Dining options include Irelands Steakhouse, a top Fort Lauderdale eatery open in the evenings from Tuesday thru Saturday noted for its prime cuts of beef; the Banyan Restaurant, with gleaming wood floors and stone accent walls serves breakfast lunch and dinner all with a Florida flavor and the Cabana Bar and Café offers special cocktails and lighter fare. The Bamboo Spa Café offers an alterative healthy style of food in harmony with treatments at the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Lifestyle Spa. The hotel is away from the major activity of Fort Lauderdale which many previous clients enjoyed. If you want to see the sights of that city and Miami they are within easy driving distance. Suggestion from golfers is that if you only play one course make it the east course which is excellent. Players said the west course was too short. Another tip from previous guests is that the rooms with patios or balconies with views of the golf course and lake are worth the additional money. There were several complaints about the need for better sound proofing, particularly on the lower floors.
