This 500-room luxury retreat has been totally renovated and is now the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Conference Center and Spa at Weston, Florida just a 20-minute drive from Fort Lauderdale Airport. There are 23-acres here to enjoy from watching swans on lakes to stunning swimming pool with waterfalls. Championship golf courses are nearby as well as the attractions of the Everglades and shopping in Fort Lauderdale. Equipped to handle business conferences the resort is ideally suited for family vacations and perfect for the more elderly guests who will enjoy the natural surroundings away from the sprawls of southern Florida cities.

The hotel is away from the major activity of Fort Lauderdale which many previous clients enjoyed. If you want to see the sights of that city and Miami they are within easy driving distance. Suggestion from golfers is that if you only play one course make it the east course which is excellent. Players said the west course was too short. Another tip from previous guests is that the rooms with patios or balconies with views of the golf course and lake are worth the additional money. Bonaventure Resort and Conference Center Accommodations

The British colonial style rooms range in size from 400 to 500 square feet. There is a choice of one king or two double beds. Amentias include a flat-screen TV with cable channels, work desk with two chairs, marble bathroom with separate walk-in shower and hairdryer. The in-room safe is large enough to store a laptop and there is Internet access. There is an MP3 docking station, microwave oven, small refrigerator, coffee maker and dual line telephones.

Dining options include Ireland’s Steakhouse, a top Fort Lauderdale eatery open in the evenings from Tuesday thru Saturday noted for its prime cuts of beef; the Banyan Restaurant, with gleaming wood floors and stone accent walls serves breakfast lunch and dinner all with a Florida flavor and the Cabana Bar and Café offers special cocktails and lighter fare. The Bamboo Spa Café offers an alterative healthy style of food in harmony with treatments at the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Lifestyle Spa. The hotel has a modern fitness and business center, tennis courts and the younger guests are well catered for with lots of activities at Camp Hyatt.

From Fort Lauderdale International Airport: Exit airport taking I-595 West approximately 15 miles to Exit 1A (136th Avenue/State Road 84). Proceed straight, West on State Road 84 approximately 2.5 miles (thru light at Weston Road) to Bonaventure Blvd. Turn left onto Bonaventure, beneath expressway and thru stop light, about 1/10 mile to Racquet Club. Turn right onto Racquet Club and proceed 1/3 mile to hotel entrance on your left. From Miami International Airport: Exit airport and take 836 West (Dolphin Expressway) approximately 4 miles to 826 North (Palmetto Expressway). Take 826 North approximately 10 miles to I-75 North. Take I-75 North to Royal Palm Boulevard (old Arvida Parkway), Exit 15. Go West on Royal Palm Boulevard (old Arvida Parkway) to 3rd traffic light, Bonaventure Blvd. Turn right on Bonaventure and proceed North approximately 2 miles through 4 intersections to Racquet Club Road. Turn left onto Racquet Club Road. Hotel is 1/3 mile down Racquet Club Road on your left.
