The 73-room Holiday Inn Express Tavares has aquariums lining the lobby and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for families on vacation and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this three-story, non-smoking hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, in-room coffee, local telephone calls and parking. The Riverview meeting room can accommodate 56 guests for business or social functions. The property is three miles from the Lake County Courthouse and five miles from the Sleepy Hollow Sports Complex. Other area landmarks and attractions include historic downtown Mount Dora, tastings and complimentary tours of the Lakeridge Winery, the Venetian Gardens, Gators Airboats and Boat Tours, downtown Leesburg and Walt Disney World which is 40 miles from the property.

This is a wonderful hotel according to many visitors to Tavares who have stayed at this Holiday Inn and rate the property as the best place to stay in town. It proved ideal for family reunions and the location in Central Florida said it was within easy driving distance of the Orlando attractions including Walt Disney World. The hot breakfast buffet was far better than most guests had expected and the majority of first-time visitors said that this will be their hotel of choice on future visits to the area.
