Overall the hotel was good. Just the carpets were a bit nasty because it keep leaving my bottom feet looking black.
Non smoking and spacious.
They need to clean their carpets and really dirty.

This hotel was in a very convenient location.The desk clerk was very helpful in finding locations we needed. It was not as quiet as I was hoping for but the noise level was not unlivable. I would stay at this hotel again.
The hotel was in a great location. The air worked great! The problem we had was fixed quickly.
It smelled a little musty.

The rooms come with a choice of one king size bed or two double beds. The amenities include high-speed Internet access, coffeemaker, television with cable news and movie channels, radio-alarm clock, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and an IDD telephone. Some rooms have the added benefits of a refrigerator and microwave oven. Suites and non-smoking rooms and handicap accessible rooms are available.

This is not one of the best Howard Johnson Inns but we still give it the YES rating because several visitors to Tampa who enjoy Ybor City had a great time here. They said the rates were very reasonable and they got on well with the cheerful crew of employees. Sadly other clients said they will not return to this property again. On future visits they will be looking for cleaner accommodation with more updated facilities.
