The hotel room was great. We had a two bedroom and it was great for the five of us. The only negative comment I have is that we needed more towels and they never arrived. The second day we asked for more towels and again they didn't arrive-it took another telephone call to finally get them. The pick up at the airport was good and the lounge/bar serves pub type food until 1am which was great because we didn't get there until after 10:30pm and were starved. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff was very friendly and courteous, rooms were huge, with full kitchens and living rooms (closet is huge), beautiful pool, and reasonable rates for room service and dining. What else do you need?

They worked quickly and efficiently to solve an issue on my reservation. Apparently only one room was reserved even though I had requested two. It was near impossible to get a room anywhere in Tampa that night due to several convention in town. When the error was discovered, they immediately sought a solution that met my satisfaction. Thank you.

Your hotel was perfectly described. It was a pleasant stop after a long flight before leaving for Longboat Key the next day. It is not the lap of luxury, yet very clean, comfortable and well designed. I would certainly recommend it as a functional & pleasant hotel.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this place! Everything was just as it was stated on the website, everything was clean and contemporary, felt like we were staying in an apartment. We especially loved the comfort of the bed and bedding as well. Will definitely stay here again. Also loved the fact that the kitchen was in the suite, so when we didn't wan to get up to go and get breakfast, we were able to cook right there.

From check in to check out a wonderful experience. Every staff member was pleasant and welcoming. The room, pool area, lobby and restaurant area are very clean and beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend.

The location is perfect, close to airport, shopping and Busch Garden. Rooms were clean, comfortable and cool during those hot Tampa days. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Gym and Pool was an added plus. Will no doubt visit again.

Our group consisted of 4 sisters traveling together for the first time as adults. The privacy of the bedrooms, each with a full bath, was key to making this stay a success. While there is a lovely communal kitchen and dining/living area to relax and enjoy each other's company, the bedrooms are private and offered a retreat. It was like having our own townhome. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and made us feel very welcome from airport pickup to dropoff. I highly recommend the Mainsail for groups of friends or families.

The Mainsail is a GORGEOUS hotel. The suites have tv sets in just about every room. The walk-in closets are pretty awesome, too. The only improvements that could be made are that drink prices at poolside are ridiculous! The reservations desk claimed we didn't have reservations. Luckily everything turned out all right!

Our reservations somehow got botched up, but everything turned out okay! The suites are BEAUTIFUL, and the staff very accommodating! Be aware that the drink prices at poolside are outrageous!!! Overall, it's definitely a "CLASSY place"!

Mainsail was terrrific. Extremely very large, clean suites...more space than we needed, beautiful grounds, wonderful pool and workout room, great pub for drinks and casual dining (breakfast), very nice staff, appreciated the airport shuttle service. We have already recommended it to friends.

My family and I had a wonderful experience. I was a little hesitant because it was not a "brand name" hotel. I relied on a review, just like this one and I'm so glad I did. It's quaint, it's romantic and the room provided ample space for my husband, two children and mother-in-law. The staff was friendly and amenities galore. Excellent Choice!

The suite was awsome and I loved that it had Bath and Bodyworks Products in the room.Most everyone was very helpful and polite. We would absolutely stay there again.

I stayed there for 3 nights and loved it. The beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were spacious. I didnt have any cmplaints. The suites are more like comdos. Very beautiful with everything you could need. Just don't drive drive during rush our. Traffic is bad. I will stay again.

Townhouse condominium like units. For a two bedroom suite, it was cheap! Everything was spotless. High security. Can't wait to go back.

We were very happy with Mainsail. The apartment-style hotel came complete with a full-sized kichen (including pots, pans, dinnerware, etc.), dining area, living room, two television sets, balcony, and more closet space than I have at home. We were just a few minutes away from the airport, and within twenty minutes of Busch Gardens, Ybor City, the Florida Aquarium, Big Cat Rescue, and other attractions. Everything was very clean, and the gated community felt safe. The mattress could have been a little more comfy, but otherwise, our visit was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Very impressive for the cost -- the rooms are immense and quite clean! The restaurant was decent but understaffed. All staff encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return with friends in tow!

We loved this hotel. Friendly staff, very clean and spacious suites. Gated, safe community that's close to everything. French milled soap. During our travel of the east coast, this was by far the best hotel we visited.

Not just a room, its an apartment... why pay $130 a night for a business class hotel room that has enough room for a mini fridge, bed, and a toilet when you can have your own apartment for half the price, full kitchen, huge pool, separate living room, walk in closet, separated bathroom, closets, dining table, tennis courts, v-ball courts, pub & grill, and your own office just to name a few... get the bang for the buck ...

Stayed 2 nights with my bf and I will not return to this hotel again. The bed was very uncomfortable, springes poking at us. Asked for a king and got a queen, key card did not work in first hotel room had to be moved to another room, the food ordered from the restaurant was not cook right, the water pressure in the shower was not very good, it was noisy at night with all the police sirens and planes taking off, and the gate on one side was broken so anyone can go in and out of complex. Staff was nice but cannot compensate for room.

We loved the hotel, there was so much space...the rooms were huge, the bathrooms were huge, the pool was very nice, the hotel was really pretty and everything was included no need to pack anything!!! There was everything!!!

The staff was friendly and the location was convenient. Entry to the suites, which were like apartments, was gated thereby giving a sense of security. I was very comfortable staying there with my kids because it had a full kitchen, complete with pots, dishes,etc.. The suite was very spacious and very clean.
