Mainsail Suites Hotel and Conference Center claims to have the largest hotel rooms in Tampa. This independently owned property is comprised of one and two bedroom suites each with a full kitchen, dining and living room and is designed for business travelers and families. The complex is a five minute drive from Tampa International Airport and there is a complimentary shuttle operating from 7am until 7pm. Nearby attractions for businessmen include the Tampa Convention Center, the International Academy of Design and Technology. Nielsen Media Headquarters and the offices of Blue Cross Blue Shield, CAE Systems, JP Morgan Chase, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Met Life. For families the Florida Aquarium, Busch Gardens and the Gulf Coast beaches are within easy driving distance.

Former visitors here are full of compliments about the size of the accommodation, the friendly staff and many said it was the best value for money of anywhere they had stayed in the state of Florida. Mainsail Suites Hotel and Conference Center Accommodations

The one bedroom suites have three rooms - kitchen, living and dining room and bedroom. The two-bedroom suites have four separates rooms and two bathrooms. All suites have cable TV, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, two line phones with free local calls and voicemail, Internet access, coffee maker and either a private balcony or patio. All the living rooms have a TV, sofa and armchair.

The complex has a fully-equipped fitness center, heated outdoor pool, Jacuzzi and tennis courts. There is an on-site convenience store, laundry and business center. The hotel’s Latitudes Pub and Grill offers casual dining for breakfast lunch and dinner. There are numerous restaurants and lounges near the complex and the hotel provides free transportation to these restaurants and nearby businesses until 7pm. Taxis can be arranged for later visits. The complex has a variety of rooms and facilities for business conferences.

Directions from Tampa Airport: Located on the northwest side of Tampa International Airport. Approximately a five-minute drive from the terminal. From the airport, take the first exit (Clearwater, Highway 60 West and the Veterans Expressway.) Remain in one of the right two lanes and proceed approximately two miles following the Air Cargo/Hillsborough Ave Exit 4 signs. You will be approaching a traffic light, which is Hillsborough Avenue. Move to left lane. Just before Hillsborough Avenue you will make a left under the Veterans Expressway Overpass. After the stop sign proceed straight getting into the right-hand lane. The hotel is located ¼ mile on the right. You will see a Mainsail Village monument sign. Follow signs for guest registration. From Interstate 275: Exit 39 (Tampa Airport, 60 West & Clearwater). Remain in the right-most lane on the exit ramp. Remain in that same lane and pass by the Airport Exit Only. Remain in one of the right two lanes and proceed approximately two miles following the Air Cargo signs. Once you past the entry and exit for the Veterans Expressway you will need to get into you leftmost lane. You will be approaching a light, which is Hillsborough Avenue. Just before Hillsborough Avenue you will make a left under the Veterans Expressway Overpass. After the Stop sign proceed straight getting into the right-hand lane. The hotel is located ¼ mile on the right. You will see a Mainsail Village monument sign. Follow signs for guest registration.
