Stayed on night on business. Great hotel. Clean, stylish, upscale, with incredibly comfy beds. Ate at one of the hotel's restaurants (not the facy one) and the food was quite good.

Location of hotel is Great! Trolley stop across the street. Minutes away from aquarium and Channelside shops. Hotel has Starbucks, Spa and wonderful fitness center. Great beds. Awesome Stay!

I took the Bar Exam in Feb 06 and I had a nice experience at this hotel. The window views are beautiful, the gym is 10 times better than any other hotel, the service is excellent, the rooms are modern and cozy. Each room has a super good shower head located in an elegant bathroom. Very modern luxurious hotel that I think it is worth paying the extra money for if you like the good life. I felt super comfortable and satisfied. Whenever I have to go to Tampa again I am definitely staying at the Marriott Waterside. I feel like a million bucks when I stay there.

if you are going to any event at the st. pete times forum, this is the place to stay. parking is a nightmare on the day of events. we only had to walk across the street for the areosmith concert and of course, it was easy and safe to walk back. there is a very nice sports bar in the hotel as we didn't have enough time to check out local restuarants. it was quite pricey for one night, but slipping into those comfy marriot beds was worth it!

Small room,old tv,dirty stained carpet,not worth the $ but you can't beat the location if you are going to a lightning hockey game.
