Overall the hotel is a very nice place and would recommend it very strongly. Unfortunately on my first visit they did not clean the tub properly from the last guest and room service at night was very slow. Disappointing, but will not keep me from staying again.
Great location, many amenities.
Room services was very slow in the evening. Tub had hair from the previous guest.

Great downtown Tampa location. The pool and work out facilities are first class.
Wow! The lobby is breathtaking.
The only option is valet parking and it took about 15 minutes each time we needed our car.

Loved the hotel and how clean and elegant it was. Truly felt like a 5 star hotel but was able to pay 3 star price! Location was excellent and when in Tampa again, I will definitely stay here. The only strange part was when I went to get dinner and a drink at the attached sports bar -- I ordered a hot tea and the bartender looked so annoyed that I would waste his time on that but I was going to order appetizer and dinner and I?m a really good tipper. Well, I was enjoying watching the game and waited over 20 minutes for him to bring my drink and he didn't, nor did he come back to take my dinner order. So I left and walked down to the new restaurant complex which ended up being a lot more fun. So I recommend the hotel to the fullest but spend your time exploring the local restaurants instead of the attached sports bar.
Clean, fancy, elegant, gorgeous.
Bartender in attached sports bar was rude.

Exceptional water views enjoyed from private balconies adjacent to nicely appointed guest rooms tops the list of reasons to stay at the Tampa Marriott Waterside. Visitors arriving to catch a cruise ship will appreciate that the hotel is within walking distance (or a quick trolley ride) of the Port of Tampa. And, Tampa Bay Lightning hockey fans and concert-goers couldn’t hope to find a more convenient location to get to the St. Pete Times Forum, located just across the street.
