Good moderate to low price hotel with excellant location for anyone attending a function at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida.
Location was across the street from the Fairgrounds.
Staff was not knowledgeable about surrounding area.

Great value for the money. The building is old, but it is well maintained. Staff was helpful. Family friendly. Easy to find. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants all over the place. I would definitely spend a night there, again.
Although it's an old facility, it is well maintained, both inside and out. The rooms are clean and the linens are fresh.
There was a rust stain around the bathtub drain. I didn't bother me, but my 13 year old son was very bothered by it.

Service and people were great. All but the bathroom up stairs backed up and ran into ours. But the problem was fixed promptly, and had no other issues.
The location.
Bathroom above had a leak that ran to ours.

Visitors to Tampa who stayed at this La Quinta said they got good value for their money. There was nothing special about this hotel but the rooms were clean and comfortable and the happy band of employees was efficient and gave helpful hints about the neighborhood shops, sights and restaurants. Most clients said they would stay here again and recommend the property to other budget travelers.
