Very convenient to Tampa and Brandon area shopping and eating establishments. I would not consider this a good hotel for kids. There was a dog in one of the rooms above me as he barked often.
Convenience to where I needed to work and eating establishments.
Just not as upscale as I had hoped for.

Would stay there again if ever going to a concert or just for a getaway.
It was close to highway and to the ford amphitheatre.

While not "Downtown" the hotel is in an easy-to-reach location to the northeast of Tampa. The staff was very attentive and helpful, and the room was clean and well-arranged. It's not huge or ostentatious, but provides clean, comfortable lodging.
The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable.
The front entrance could use a bit of spiffing up.

The rooms and come with a choice of one king size bed or two double beds. The amenities include a work desk with high-speed Internet access, telephone with voicemail and data port, coffeemaker, 25-inch television with cable movie and news channels, AM/FM radio-alarm clock, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. Some rooms have the added benefits of a microwave oven and a refrigerator. Suites and handicap accessible rooms are available.

This is a fine, basic hotel with reasonable rates and a good location close to Interstate 75. Many clients said the beds here were very comfortable and the rooms were spotlessly clean. The complimentary breakfast was much better than many guests had expected and most travelers said they will return to this La Quinta on future visits to Tampa. The energetic team of employees had helpful advice about sightseeing and the neighborhood restaurants and shops.
