This 133-room property is designed for the long-stay guest. The Extended StayAmerica Tampa on North Westshore Boulevard caters mainly for businessmen on a budget as well as itinerant construction workers seeking more of a home away from home, than a motel or hotel. The property comprises studios with fully-equipped kitchens and separate sleeping, living and working areas. The hotel is well located for families wanting to tour this part of southwest Florida. The following attractions are within easy driving distance: Busch Gardens, the Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo and the Tampa Bay Performing Arts and Ice Palace.

Previous guests here have enjoyed self-catering with the fully equipped kitchen and say it is an economical way to vacation in the area. A word of warning from those who have stayed here: You have to pay in advance for your stay. At check-in, guests paying the nightly rate will be charged for their entire stay. Extended Stay Tampa Westshore Accommodations

All the studios come with cable TV, a refrigerator, microwave oven and stovetop. Dining and cooking utensils are provided and there is Internet access for a fee. There is no charge for local phone calls and the IDD phones are equipped with voice mail. Irons and ironing boards are available at the front desk.

Amenities offered

The front desk operates from 7am until 11pm and offers help with mail delivery, faxes and copying services. Housekeeping is limited to one service per week for guests staying for more than seven nights. The hotel however does offer additional housekeeping for an additional fee. All guests receive a free continental breakfast and there are numerous bars and restaurants close to the hotel. There is an on-site guest laundry and three shopping malls – Citrus Park, International and Westshore – are within easy driving distance.
