Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Downtown in Tampa Florida

Traveled to Tampa for business and took the family. The room was nice and big, great for family of 2 year old and 9 month old. Unfortunately it was too cold to use to pool but it looked very nice.

I felt a little misled upon arriving at this hotel. The website said there was a lounge, which turned out to be the "dining room" that served drinks. The shuttle service, an important feature to us in order to avoid renting a car, only ran until 11:00pm and took over 25 minutes to pick us up. We ended up taking cabs rather than waiting. The pool area was very nice and the hotel overall was clean and met my basic expectations. I would go back here on business but would not consider it as a vacation destination.

This is exactly what you would expect from the name and the price. Nice simple hotel with clean comfortable rooms, ample and professional service, and acceptable food. The valet parking was a nice feature and reasonably priced. There is NOTHING wrong with this hotel for what it claims to be.
