Convenient hotel near the airport. However, the staff blew me away with their service. 2 star hotel with 5-star staff.
Staff was outstanding.

The LaQuinta Inn I stayed at served its purpose as a place for me to crash after a night on the town at the Gasparilla Festival in downtown Tampa. Even though it was a five to ten minute drive to downtown from the hotel, the hotel was easy to find.
The hotel was close to several shopping districts.
The overall appearance of the hotel seemed aged.

The staff is friendly and the entire place is very clean. The rooms are quite spacious and fairly priced compared to other hotels in the area. Check in is really easy. Conveniently located closed to the airport. IHOP and other opular restaurants are within walking distance. The free high speed internet access in all rooms is a plus.
