This hotel is a old, dirty & Nasty. Mattres decorate the lawn the parking lot has not been cleaned in years. If you like living in slum and filth this is the place to be. Not a good way to remember a vacation experience I don't care how cheap it is. It should have been FREE!! it was down right disgusting!! Not Days Inn quality at ALL !!

Best Deal! - posted on 04/22/2007
This is our second stay here,(was here last year too) had the room for 6 days, our room was clean, new beds, furniture and paint. Grounds and pool very clean! Parking lot is well lit as well. This is a older and not fancy motel but the best deal, and we had NO PROBLEMS 2 years in a row.

The box spring in a number of the rooms looked old and they were stained. Irons and ironing broards had to be rented and the boards were so small you had to get down on your hands and knees to use them. There was no soap in the room and we had to go to the front desk to get some.

They were doing some renovations at this time. Our stay of 1 week was fine! Not fancy but a good deal! Staff and Resturant were very nice. I think the new owners are really trying hard!

Horrible place. Dirty and unsafe. Our door wouldnt lock then a wallet got stuck inthe safe that no one could open then I got locked in the bathroom and my remote for the TV did nor work. It is a mile from B.G. you cannot walk- its false advertising. It is too hot to even consider the mile long walk across the street?!

Worst hotel experience ever. FILTHY, DISGUSTING, UNSAFE, DILAPIDATED!! ceiling was falling down. Floor felt like it would cave in at any moment. filth everywhere. dumpster in parking lot overflowing everywhere, property surounded by filthy runndown mobile homes. breakfast is horrid, made worse by the pervasive stench of pest extermination chemicals. Porno shops nearby, with seedy patrons everywhere. elevator is outdoors in a poorly lit corner no security at all. I have a few photos. if you would like to see them, email me.

My dog's bed is cleaner than the rug in the room; we never took our shoes off - never. Took a shower in another hotel next morning. Will not stay in that hotel if they pay me.
WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE - posted on 05/24/2005
Gross, filthy rooms, riddled with deterioration and mildew, plumbing problems, poor security (i was given a room key to an already occupied room), lack of maintenance and concern for travelers satisfaction. my room door was opened and left ajar at 10:00 AM. absolutely the worst hotel experience i've ever had.
Very bad experience - posted on 05/05/2005
We had two rooms during our stay. The hotel is run down and minimally taken care of. Our room had no microwave or refrigerator as advertised. The toilet wouldn't flush and the bathtub and shower were leaking and in disrepair. Our sons' room had similar problems. The shower didn't even work and we had to double up for two days. Finally, they moved their room to another floor not even near our room. The air conditioners were cranky and noisy. I hadly slept the whole week. The only good thing was the hotel is across the street from Busch Gardens where we spent four days.
My experience... - posted on 04/28/2005
This is the most disgusting place I have EVER SEEN. I have spent all morning filing complaints with health/hotel and anyone else in Tampa I can find. There was a leak in the bathroom coming through the ceiling fixutre and the ceiling was about to fall in - and that was room number TWO - the first room was even worse. We had to stay as we arrived late with kids during a storm, but we make them sleep in clothes, socks and thier baseball hats, then we went to another hotel the next morning so we could all shower!

I was absolutely horrified! I travel alot and I have never stayed in such a dirty, disgusting place. The sink would clog, the a/c was old, and the room was musty. Nasty, nasty place!

Its nothing spectacular, but it works. If you're someone looking for a great price or location to Busch Gardens, we walked there from the hotel. We are students and for the money you won't get much better than here.

The location is great. The furniture in the rooms is very old. The rooms are not very clean. Other than that everything was pretty good.
Worst Place I Ever Stayed - posted on 04/29/2004
Entering the room I noticed the floor was uneven and the room smelled foul. The airconditioner was loud and the bathroom was litteraly falling apart.
