This hotel was super clean. The staff was really friendly. If you wanted to sleep in they left you alone. The front desk sent up anything you wanted but, I kept having to ask for basic things like more coffee and towels. I gave up after awhile and just put up with what I had. I would like to stay there again.

It was really clean and had a beautiful entry.

I never had enough towels or regular coffee in the room.

The 128-room Holiday Inn Sarasota-Lakewood Ranch is located off Interstate 75 and provides affordable accommodation for both the vacationer and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this four-story, non-smoking hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. There are three meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 130 guests. The property is nine miles from the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. Other landmarks and attractions include numerous golf courses, the Gulf of Mexico beaches, the Ringling Museum of Art, the G Wiz Science Museum, the Asolo Repertory Theatre, Sarasota County Fairgrounds and Arena and Ed Smith Stadium which is home to the Cincinnati Reds baseball team spring training camp.

This is an excellent hotel and those who have stayed at this Holiday Inn in Sarasota have been impressed with the clean and comfortable rooms and reasonable rates. Unfortunately several clients complained about an attitude problem with certain employees in the restaurant and staff at the front desk who thought personal calls on their mobile were more important than taking care of hotel guests. Despite this the majority of clients said they would recommend the property to fellow travelers and planned to stay here themselves on future visits to southwest Florida.
