I thought the hotel was great. We were traveling as a family of 7 and it accommodated us very well. The price was great.

The room was great, the breakfast was great too.

The staff member did not keep the breakfast items supplied in a timely manner, she acted like it was an imposition on her.

Great hotel in all respects, just don't let them put you in the rooms at the north end of the property. The road and airport noise are unbearable.

Very nicely furnished and like new inside.

The room was near the highway and was VERY noisy. Staff seemed uninterested when I complained about the noise level.

Hotel was nice. Check in staff was rude and wanted to bill my credit card again, but the check out staff was very friendly and fixed the error since the room was pre-paid. Should let you know that it is a non-smoking hotel online. Don't like to have to go outside to smoke.

Bedroom was apart from the rest of the room.

Entire hotel was non-smoking.

The 84-all suites Springhill Suites by Marriott Sarasota is located near the entrance to the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport and provides affordable accommodation for both families on vacation and the business traveler. All the suites have separate living and sleeping areas. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The on-site The Market offers a full range of snacks, sandwiches and beverages and is always open. The property has two meeting rooms for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 30 guests. Nearby attractions include the Ringling Museum of Art, Asolo Performing Arts Theatre, Sarasota Kennel Club, Mote Marine Laboratory and Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. Lido Beach is eight miles from the property.

Many regular visitors to the area rate this as the best place to stay in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. They said it was not the cheapest hotel, but the friendly service, spacious rooms and facilities warranted the additional money. Bonus points were the computers with Internet access available near the lobby 24/7 and chocolate chip cookies and coffee served in the afternoon. Words of advice from former clients: Do not be put off by the close proximity to the airport. Aircraft noise is not a problem.
