Couldn't ask for a better location for this hotel. Just two blocks from Armand's Circle and across the street from a beautiful gulf beach, it doesn't get much better. Room was comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was very accommodating.

Fantastic location, beautiful view, and nice hotel.

We had a wonderful stay, across the street from the beach and a few blocks from St. Armand's circle. Did not spend much time actually in the hotel because we were having such fun at location attractions.

Close to the beach and local attractions.

Older hotel could have used upgrades.

The 135-room Holiday Inn Lido Beach is across the street from the white sands of Lido Key beach and provides quality accommodation for both the vacationer and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this seven-story, non-smoking hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee and parking. There is 1,250 square feet of meeting space available for business or social functions. Area landmarks and attractions include numerous golf courses, the University of South Florida at Sarasota-Manatee, the Mote Marine Aquarium, the Ringling Museum of Art, the Asolo Repertory Theatre, Sarasota County Fairgrounds and Arena, shopping at St. Armand's Circle and the Ed Smith Stadium which is home to the Cincinnati Reds baseball team spring training camp.

It was the incredible beachfront location that guests loved most about this Sarasota Holiday Inn. There were complaints that the bathrooms were looking tired and dated, and there was nothing special about the restaurant food. But the views and the friendly staff throughout the property more than compensated for that. Most clients said they cannot wait to return here and have no hesitation in recommending the property to fellow travelers.
