My experience at La Quinta was good. I had no issues and the price I paid was reasonable for the accomodations available.

A centrally located hotel for the St. Petersburg, Tampa Bay with friendly desk staff. The facility is showing its age; LaQuinta Inn provides the necessities, nice pool, basic complimentary breakfast, less than quiet accommodations, and almost wireless broadband service (you'll have to use the lobby computer).
Desk staff were very accommodating
Noisey guests, in room wireless internet service not working, complimentary breakfast needed more attention

This is a great hotel for anyone on a tight budget. That is the opinion of several visitors to Saint Petersburg who stayed at this La Quinta. The rooms here are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The cheerful crew of employees gets good reviews for being speedy, friendly and efficient. The location is not in one of the best areas of the city but it is close to Tropicana Stadium. Several guests said the complimentary breakfast was better than they had expected and they will stay at this hotel on future visits to Florida’s west coast.
