the hotel was good for what was available on race weekend, food facilities were not close by. over all it was good, with plenty of bell carts and good elevator service.

The housekeepers were probably the most friendly and helpful keepers I have ever met. Our family enjoyed the hotel so much the childern did not want to leave.

The 162-room Comfort Suites at the World Golf Village is near the Golf Hall of Fame and provides quality accommodation for both the vacationer and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access throughout the property, local telephone calls, in-room coffee and parking. There is meeting space available for business or social functions that can accommodate 200 guests. An IMAX theater, two golf courses and the St. Johns County Convention Center are located across the street. The property has easy access to Interstate 95 and is 12 miles south of Jacksonville, eight miles west of the Atlantic beaches and 10 miles northwest of downtown historic Saint Augustine. The hotel overlooks a private lake adjacent to World Golf Village.

There is a presidential suite and executive suites that have a hot tub. Some rooms enjoy lake views.

It was not only golfers that enjoyed their stayed here. Several families said it proved to be a good base for touring the northeast Florida attractions. The suites were spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The efficient and friendly team of employees had helpful hints about the area sights and knew all the best places for shopping and dining. Most guests said they would stay at this Comfort Suites on future visits to Saint Augustine and they had no problem recommending the hotel to fellow travelers.
