Customer Reviews for Best Western Spanish Quarters Inn

great hotel for a great price! - posted on 05/28/2007

I was very hesitant when I was trying to book a hotel in st. augustine. Most reviews of other hotels mentioned roaches and dirty rooms. BW spanish quarters was clean, the staff was friendly, continental breakfast was wonderful, and the location was outstanding! Worth the money, I will def. return to this hotel in the future!!

Nice, clean rooms - posted on 07/05/2006

Very clean rooms. Nice comfortors on the beds, not the ugly bedspreads in most hotels. The rooms are smaller than average, so it's a bit cramped, but I was impressed with the cleanliness and homey feel of the rooms. Nice pool and hot tub, kids had a blast. Very close to historical part of town, easily walking distance. Trolley stop right in front of hotel. Parking lot is very tight, though. Had a hard time parking in front.

Nothing good to say. We checked out after first night. We had planned to stay three.

Verry Clean - posted on 07/13/2005

The room was a little crampt, but I just go to the room to sleep anyway. it was verry clean. and reasonably priced. The location was great. You can easily walk anywhere, but it is also verry close to trolley, and train stop. beautifull town.

Mediocre - posted on 12/05/2004

The best thing about this hotel is that you can walk to most major attactions. The room is small but manageable with average cleanliness but I felt cramped in the bathroom. The noise level was low.The continental breakfast had hot and cold cereal, fruit, and juice but instead of fresh bread, gave us packaged baked goods. If you have the time, the best attraction is Fort Matanzas National Monument about 15 miles south and it is free. Also try to get to AJ's for lunch or dinner.
