The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Rooms were comfortable. Location to restaurants and other sites was good. Right on the beach, can't ask for much better than that.

The pet-friendly Holiday Inn St Augustine Beach comprises 151 rooms designed for the vacationer but equally suited to the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this five-story, non-smoking hotel are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. The Old Town Trolley stops in front of the hotel for those wanting to see the sights of historic Saint Augustine. Tickets can be purchased at the front desk. There are three meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 120 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include several golf courses, Castillo de San Marcos, the Saint Augustine Lighthouse, the Potters Wax Museum, Anastasia State Park, the Florida Speed Park and the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Several visitors to this Holiday Inn said they received great southern hospitality and the location, on the beach, was excellent. Many clients said they got good value for their dollar and were excited by the sunning ocean views. Pet lovers said the rules were reasonable. Pets are only allowed in certain ground floor rooms and not in oceanside or poolside rooms. Break the rules and you face a $250 fee the same amount charged to those caught smoking in any of the guest rooms.
