This 84-room inexpensive property is centrally located for dining, shopping and local attractions. The Country Inn and Suites Panama City is 10 miles from the beach and three miles from Panama City Airport. The hotel caters mainly to the leisure market but it does have meeting rooms for seminars capable of handling up to 50 people. Nearby attractions include the Panama City Jr. Museum, Panama City Mall, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Gulf Coast Community College, Hombre Golf Club and the Gulf Coast Medical Center. Main attraction for tourists is the 20-mile stretch of beach with its clean, white sand and azure water.

All rooms and suites feature attractive country-style décor and amenities include free Internet access, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, IDD telephone and cable TV with movie channels. The more expensive suites have a microwave oven, refrigerators, sofa bed and separate living area.

Most previous visitors enjoyed their stay and would recommend it to others. Many said that they thought spending extra money for a suite was well worthwhile. Several clients who were here during the festive season said the Christmas decorations were fabulous. There were several who said the area around the hotel was not the greatest in Panama City and they found the views dull and depressing. Offsetting that was the friendly service, fair pricing and free Internet access.
