Very comfortable and clean with excellent service. Outstanding continental breakfast. Quiet location across the street from the beach.

Continental breakfast was very good. Inn staff always available and professional in manner.

Need a few more vending machines for snacks and beverages.

We had a great stay. We have a baby and a toddler but felt very comfortable and accommodated. The breakfast was great - fresh waffles and fruit plus usual pastries etc. Staff were very friendly. After reading some other reviews I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. It has just been renovated so I think the bad reviews were written before this.

The first floor had a slightly musty smell.

I especially liked the hotel location, and accessibility to Palm Beach, the place I was conducting business. It allowed me to walk the beach and walk along the beach one day and the inter harbor on another day. Very good location, with better than expected experience.

Very close to beach and intercostals with good service/appearance/hospitality.

No complaints.

The 98-room Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Palm Beach is a contemporary three-story motor hotel overlooking Floridas intracoastal waterway and across the road from the beach. The non-smoking property is within easy driving distance of the upmarket stores and restaurants of Palm Beach and a short drive from the shopping malls and attractions of West Palm Beach. Items included with the room rate are a deluxe continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and a copy of USA Today. Catering mainly to vacationers, the property has good facilities for the executive including a full service business center and a meeting room for social or business functions.

Accommodations

All the guestrooms, and 20 suites, have a well-lit work desk with high-speed Internet access, two telephones with voicemail and data ports, refrigerator, CD player, cable television with movie channels, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. The more expensive, and expansive, suites had the added benefit of a second television, refrigerator and microwave oven.

The inn has an outdoor heated swimming pool with great views of the Intracoastal Waterway. There is an exercise room and full service business center. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are several restaurants close by including a Cheeburger Cheeseburger, John Gs seafood restaurant and Paradiso, an Italian restaurant. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. There are vending machines and a coin-operated laundry.

Many former visitors to this Marriott property were impressed by the way the hotel operated. Families on vacation considered the prices to be very reasonable considering the location in Palm Beach, across from the beach. There were many good comments about the friendly staff and several guests said they would stay here again on future visits to South Florida.
