Good Deal - posted on 05/07/2007

We booked this hotel at Online Travel Site at $- per night (weekdays) plus tax. Extremely good deal. Don't let the price decieve you. the hotel is not cheap at all. The room is clean. Usually the hotel shower head is very weak, but not my room. Breakfast includes self-made-waffle, bagel, bread, fruit, juices, milk, etc... Pool is nice. Staff is nice. Location is very convenient. Close to many restarants, supermarkets, walmart, outlets, and all theme parks. I'm traveling with my 3 yrs old and will definitely stay there again.

Love the fact that all Marriotts are now smoke free. Even my teenage son commented on how clean it smelled and what a diffrence it made. Gated facility, great people and overall wonderful experience. I would highly reccommend this Inn to anyone. Thanks for making travel safe and clean for the entire family.

The hotel was great! free breakfast outstanding!- However, I foolishly thought that "shuttle" meant "free shuttle". If you fly in, RENT A CAR !! - Shuttle is expensive and very undependable! Taxis tend to take longer routes than necessary. Don't have hotel call the taxi. Most are curbside and you can get a better price by dealing with the taxi driver directly.

Great Hotel - posted on 04/27/2007

My daughter and I stayed for four nights and the hotel was extra clean and the staff was very friendly. After visiting many close by parks, attractions, and restaurants, the accomodations in the hotel made us feel at home. We relaxed with the choice of three heated pools. One pool was half indoor and half outdoor. The free breakfast was just enough to start our day. I would definitely come back to Fairfield again.

Excellent Hotel - posted on 04/20/2007

My wife and I have stayed at a lot of hotels and this by far the best for the price (about $* a night w/taxes). Service was excellent. Room was average size, but very clean and modern. Nice simple pool. The breakfest (free) was great, best continental breakfast I ever had at a hotel. Convenient location, walking distance to many restaurants. Close drive to malls and grocery store. It has several restaurant fronts and a coffee shop on location. Only issue, so many rental cars, parking is tight later at night. We will be returning next March.

/A Great Choice - posted on 04/16/2007

Having the continental breakfast each morning was terrific. Lots of carbs to start the day! Waffles, bagels, donuts and cereal. There was a very nice pool at the hotel as well as 2 other pools to use close by. The only problem was not enough mirrors. There was only one by the sink. It would be nice to have another in the room somewhere. Being there with 2 teenage daughters, my husband and I found it a bit of a challenge!

Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The best thing about is the hotel is the cleanliness of the room and everywhere in general. The staff were friendly and very knowlegeable. The decor was beautiful and you would not want a better location. Very close to attractions and shopping.

Great week with GF - posted on 04/10/2007

Arrived at the hotel just in time late monday night. Spent 4 wonderful nights at a standard room with double beds with my gf. The room was perfectly sized with a mini refrigerator and a very decent bathroom. Room was cleaned everyday by maids. The food court was pretty good however only 2 or 3 people worked at the food court which contained 4 or 5 food stores which seemed odd. Complimentary breakfast every morning seemed great however did not wake up in time because I like to sleep in. Staff was nice and friendly.Would definetly come back!

We go up to Orlando from Miami like four or five times in a year and we just call the hotel like home, they have great service and the location inside the Marriott Village is spectacular,

Very Comfortable - posted on 03/27/2007

Our stay at this Fairfield was very enjoyable. For such a large hotel it was very quiet and you could not hear doors slamming or people talking while in your room especially if you want to sleep in. The beds were very comfortable, however, they need to provide sheets that fit (king size bed). We would definately stay here again and the price was so reasonable.

We'll be back! - posted on 02/19/2007

This hotel was great! The rooms were pretty big and the beds were great! Breakfast was good, very organized and many offerings. It was too cold when we were there, but there is a bar at the pool which is always a plus. We will be staying here again next time we are in the area.

LAST MINUTE SUCCESS - posted on 01/03/2007

WE BOOKED JUST 2 DAYS BEFORE VISIT - WE EXPECTED THE WORSE, BUT IT WAS REALLY NICE. IT WAS A HOLIDAY, SO TRAFFIC WAS AWFUL, BUT I WAS ABLE TO GET AROUND PRETTY GOOD (DISNEY, CORONADO CONV. CTR., SEAWORLD, OUTLETS). ONLY PROBLEM WAS A LACK OF FOOD. AT THE FOOD COURT, WE COULDN'T GET WAITED ON, IT WAS CLOSED WHEN WE GOT BACK AY NIGHT. OTHER FOOD WAS A DRIVE AWAY. NO CAR = GOING TO BED HUNGRY.

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was great-especially the Belgian waffles! We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Disney and the surrounding area!

GREAT Hotel - posted on 10/14/2006

The rooms were clean as well as the facilities; gym, daycare, etc. The housekeeping needs to speak english cause we had to call the front desk for everything rather than ask the maid. Breakfast was wonderful; fruit, milk, juice, coffee, muffins, danishes, toast, waffles, ham, hard boiled eggs and more.

Exellent Stay!! - posted on 10/11/2006

Wow what a great time!! 9 days in Orlando at the Fairfield, super service, great breakfast, the best beds, very clean pool and rooms. Could not have been happier or had a better time. We have stayed on site and at other hotels in the area, this one WINS including close to the Disney parks

Nice hotel - posted on 10/11/2006

The hotel's pool was great, with plenty of towels for the pool. The hotel's site says that a taxi to the hotel is approx. $35. It cost me $50 inc. tip. Wifi worked perfectly. Rooms were clean.

Marriott Village - posted on 10/04/2006

We booked our weekend away at the Fairfield Inn at the Marriott Village. When we arrived, they were out of rooms with King beds, as we requested. Luckily they are in the Marriott Village, and found us a room (suite actually) at Springhill Suites (next door) for 10 dollars more. It was great! Very professionally done, and without any big hassle. It was all done at the Fairfield Inn, room key etc. Great service.

Great Stay - posted on 10/02/2006

Everything was clean, although the remote control was in poor shape and one of the lights did not work. Safe location with 2 other Marriott hotels. Blankets very nice. Fasten all locks on doors or housekeeping will walk right in. Large breakfast selection. Nice pool but no hot tub. I will go again, it was a great deal. Outlet mall is so close, as well as decent restaurants. Very close to Downtown Disney. Very quiet. It also offers parking.

Nice for the money - posted on 09/20/2006

Great hotel for the money. We stayed in one of the king bed rooms- a little on the small side, but for the amount of time that we actually spent in the room it was fine. There are three hotels that you have access to on this property - the pool at the Marriot is nicer, but all three are clean and pleasant. Do NOT go for the Breakfast Bufffet at the Marriot, though. It is overpriced for the little that is available. Good location from Downtown Disney!

needs improvement - posted on 09/15/2006

This hotel was old and is in dire need of renovation. The bathrooms, in both rooms we stayed in, were moldy, the sheets did not fit the beds the A/C units were rusty and there was dried up rust on the floor. The shower curtains had shower gel and soap from the previous guests.

Cheap, Efficient, and Satisfaction - posted on 09/05/2006

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 5 days/4 nights to go to Disney, ect. We found it to be conveneint, cheap, clean and comfortable, and an overall nice hotel. Breakfast is filling, room was clean, staff was very receptive and friendly. TIP: check out the I-Ride if you dont mind walking 15 min. to the outlets. Its cheaper than the shuttle to Seaworld and leaves every 20 min. up and down International Drive. For Disney though take the shuttle but prepare to wake up really early, as they leave at 8,9,10 only. I would definitely return to the Marriot Village.

great location for access to Disneyworld and restaurants. Very small rooms. Rooms surround a pool which is very noisy with screaming kids until 11:00 p.m. Hotel management told us to put up with it.

Decent Hotel - posted on 01/10/2006

I stayed here on a business trip and it was decent. The room itself was quite spacious but the paint on the wall was old and there were many scuffs on the wall. Overall the stay was sufficient. I was pleasantly surprised that they served waffles at their complimentary breakfast!

Enjoyed the Stay - posted on 12/02/2005

My wife and I have stayed in the Disney area several times with this stay being our first in this hotel. We felt our stay was a great value for the money. The staff was very helpful and friendly, in addition, we felt very safe and secure. The three hotels together is a good idea. We will stay in this complex again.

The price is right - posted on 10/04/2005

Nice hotel, very secure area with guarded lot in Marriott Village, location is excellent. Room price is very reasonable, pool is nice. Carpet in the room is a bit worn. Friendly service. Breakfast could be a little more protein enriched. Laundry facility nice with free soap. Parking is tough if you come back late.

nice hotel - posted on 08/31/2005

i liked the fact that the hotel was connected to two others. I think the arcade needs an overhaul and new games and the beds weren't the most comfortable. The hotel was in a great location for us and the staff was extremely friendly..

Good location - posted on 07/25/2005

Rooms were very small. Was given a handicapp room, and the bed nearly sat on the floor and would not have been large enough to accomodate a w/c. Staff was nice and the free breakfast was good, with waffles, fruit, cereal etc. Pool was okay. Not real large and not many chairs. Close to disney, restaurants and outlet mall.

Good nights sleep - posted on 02/15/2005

I stayed at this hotel in November for one night and really enjoyed my stay. After staying at another hotel in October and getting an awful nights sleep I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the bed was. Pool and hot tub area were great, very relaxing. Nice to get a free breakfast before I was on my way. Liked how the three hotels are connected, walked to each one to look around. Good security and close to everything. Only problem was after getting back late I had to park very far away. Was able to move car in the morning to load it up though.

Needs redo - posted on 12/28/2004

After I got over the shock of not having an in-room coffee-maker for the first time in at least ten years (what's up with that, Marriott?) I couldn't remove my eyes from the dirty, worn hallway carpet.Staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable (who has ever before been in a Fairfield with a concierge?! Great idea!).If you've got kids, the place is great. Safer than some other properties in Orlando because of security and limited ingress.
