Residence Inn by Marriott Lake Buena Vista consists of 210 suites designed for families on vacation but with good facilities for the business traveler. The pet-friendly property has three meeting rooms for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 215 guests. Items included in the room rate are the shuttle to Walt Disney World, an evening manager’s reception, a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, parking, a morning newspaper, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The five-story non-smoking hotel is less than a mile from shopping at Orlando’s Premium Outlets and a short drive from several golf courses.

If you have come to Orlando to see Mickey, this could be the magic place to stay while visiting the Magic Kingdom and all the parks at Walt Disney World. Families said this proved to be the perfect spot and the complimentary transportation to the Disney parks was a major benefit. All the suites have a fully equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator, conventional and microwave oven, dishwasher, stove, toaster and silverware and dishes. Other features are a work desk with high-speed Internet access, dual-line telephone with voicemail, cable television with news and movie channels, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. Video games and players are available for rent. .

This hotel has an outdoor heated swimming pool, children’s pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are numerous places to eat within a mile of the property including a McDonalds, Burger King, Outback Steakhouse and a Hooters. The inn offers a grocery shopping service and there is a full service business center on site. The front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on all the Orlando events and attractions. Other amenities include a games room, coin-operated laundry, picnic area with barbecue grill, vending machines and valet dry-cleaning.

From Orlando International Airport (MCO) 18 miles: From the airport you travel north to the Beeline Expressway (SR 528). Go west on SR 528 for 14 miles to Interstate 4. Take Interstate 4 west to Exit 68. Turn north on SR 535 and go 1.2 miles to Palm Parkway. Turn right on Palm Parkway and proceed 1.2 miles to Marbella Palms Court.
