Good Family Hotel - posted on 03/04/2007

This was a good value family hotel with nice breakfasts and quiet rooms; not fancy but perfect for Disney excursions. Good concierge service!

Horrible! Stay somewhere else. - posted on 01/09/2007

Room seemed dirty upon entering & wasn't cleaned next day. Housekeeping left door open & unlocked 3rd day. Found strange hairs in "clean" towel. Mgmt. didn't care. Yucky hotel.

Pick another Hotel - posted on 01/08/2007

We arrived on 1/1/07 to a filthy hotel. The carpets in the halls were not swept and my feet stuck to the elevator floor. The room was bad so I asked to see another room but, it wasn't any better. The carpet in the threshold of the bathroom was worn and torn so that every time the door was opened or closed it peeled the carpet. We changed hotels after a couple of days to a cleaner hotel. (As soon as we were able)This hotel did not match the other Country Inns and Suites we have stayed at before.

Decent Hotel - posted on 01/04/2007

Even though this hotel is only about 15 minutes or so from Disney World, the shuttle service they use makes many stops between the hotel and the park. It took over an hour the two mornings we took it (the second day the driver spent 15 minutes getting out of the hotel parking lot because he got stuck). Additionally, the last shuttle leaves the parks at 10pm - fine during the off season, but was unusable during the holidays when the parks were open past midnight. The shuttle is $10 per person and cabs cost about $50. If you stay there, rent a car, otherwise it's a huge hassle and expensive!

Clean Room - posted on 01/03/2007

Great value for the money. Clean room with queen beds, very convenient to Disney. Plenty of restaurants close by. People very nice and helpful. Visited week after Christmas during bowl week. Didn't try breakfast on way to Disney as room was full. Just be patient with traffic as can be conjested several blocks away. Would definitely stay here again.

Went to bed and bed frame broke and had to sleep on mattress on floor.Till next day! Had to go from suite to room with 2 queen beds! No refund for suite! Please don't stay here! Could not book any where else! All Hotels in area full for Christmas!

Good Location needing better customer service - posted on 11/06/2006

Upon arrival, (celebrating our 10th anniversary) we gave our name to the front desk - repeatedly we were told that our names were not in the computer, we had no reservation there, etc. Ironically I had called the day before to double check on an order from a local florist for my wife - I used one that the hotel suggested. The flowers were delivered that day in my wife (April's) name, and placed into a room -- our room -- that the clerk was telling us we did not have. Eventually everything ironed out, but it was not the best of experiences.

I would recomment this place to anyone that travels to Orlando. We were right up the street from Universal Studios. Stupendous

The Masses - posted on 08/09/2006

Don't even think about trying to go down for the "free breakfast"...there were over 100 people trying to fit in a space for 30. Long lines, no service, mediocre food. The rooms were very clean and if you are just looking for clean, safe and affordable night stay it's fine. Anything longer than a weekend would have been torture.

aaa & k stay - posted on 08/01/2006

Room had damp feeling and has slit smell of meldew. One of our windows had a bad sill also. It wouldn't stay there again (not with the family at least). It was worth the money since it very close to Universal and they offer full breakfast.

clean but small - posted on 06/24/2006

The breakfast was great, the rooms were clean and was VERY close to Universal Studios. The pool was closed for first half of trip, but did reopen after being fixed.Front desk staff was nice but overworked. I would recommend the hotel to budget-minded consumers. You get alot for the money.

nice place to stay for a night or two - posted on 06/09/2006

Hotel was nice and cleaning, so was the rooms as well. Great place to stay if your not going to be in the room all the time.Very close to everything, and very quiet at night. Breakfast is good, but needs little improvement.

Overall, a good place to stay - posted on 06/03/2006

Overall, this is a nice place to stay for the price. The complimentary breakfast is a plus. The rooms are very clean, the location is good (off main strip) and the service was fine. The location in Sarasota is nicer/newer/better overall but Orlando was fine. I'd recommend it.

Good value - posted on 05/12/2006

My husband and I went to Orlando for a mini vacation and chose this hotel for the price and location. The area was very quiet. The room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff, although not rude didn't go out of there way to be courteous. We were disappointed with the continental breakfast. Very limited variety of foods and not very good for those watching there carbs! All in all a good value for the price we paid and we would definitely stay again.

Great Stay In Orlando!!! - posted on 04/24/2006

This hotel was in a great location! Close to International Drive, Wet and Wild, and Universal! We also traveled to Kennedy Space Center in less than an hour! The room was clean and the breakfast was good. They staff was very helpful with finding area churches and there is someone in the lobby to help you plan activites in the area as well as purchase tickets. Overall a very good stay!

mostly nice - posted on 04/20/2006

Overall very nice for the price, but a few areas need improvement. The rather small pool was FILTHY when we checked in. I mentioned it to the front desk and it was vacumed the next morning. The parking area is too small. We arrived around midnight and all the spots were taken and about 15 cars had already parked in the grass/front circle. Also the free breakfast was better than a pure continental, but not by much. With all that said, not a bad value if you get a good price. Very close to Universal/Wet n Wild. Easy nightlife commute!

Great Hotel - posted on 12/29/2005

This hotel had a good location, around the corner from the busy and noisy I-Drive. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding, replenished often and a good variety, something for everyone. The hotel was clean, in good condition and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. The place was in great shape and not randown. The breakfast was good and kept up. After three days and different selection would have been nice. But we very happy with everything. We expect clean and we got it! Thanks
