Customer Reviews for Embassy Suites Hotel Orlando-Downtown

good times - posted on 05/27/2007

Me and my family, were very satisfied with the rooms that we got, the place had a good size bed room, a kitchenette, which was helpful, living room which had a sofa com bed. Elaborate breakfast every morning which we enjoyed, It has an out door pool which is connected to an indoor pool. Hot tub was my favourite, after a very long day.We never got to enjoy the happy hour, cause we were not back by that time, Service was good, didnot have problem with parking during our stay.,I was not expecting it to be so relaxing with no problems.

Great Hotel - posted on 10/02/2006

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Besides the free breakfast they have a free happy hour, which was an unexpected pleasure. The only bad thing is parking, because its in the middle of downtown Orlando. Its best just to pay for the valet parking so you don't have to worry about it.

Note that the hotel charges for local calls. There is no poolside bar service. But the staff was friendly, fun and informative.

Good Hotel, Great Locale - posted on 02/23/2005

This is not a hotel for the tourist section. this is a hotel for business travelers and for those who want to see what the downtown scene is all about.

Horrible Front Desk Service - posted on 10/09/2004

I arrived to one person behind the front desk helping a man checkout. While waiting he was constantly answering the phone and making the process longer than necessary. When it was my turn he took 2 phone calls before even helping me check in. After giving me the keys I went to the room to find out that the room was the wrong type of room AND was already OCCUPIED. When I finally got the room I paid for there was a VERY dirty blanket on the bed. I looked like someone had a bloody nose and wiped it all over the top of the blanket. Housekeeping came about 1 hour later to replace it but instead of removing the dirty blanket they just handed me the new blanket at the door and left. The only good part of this stay was the breakast in the morning. The service and food was good. This was a disappointing experience to say the least.
