We loved the proximity to Universal Studios, the friendly staff, and the 42-in. plasma TV. Our room was a good size, we liked the free breakfast, and the shuttle to the park.

Great hotel even though it was being remodeled. The A/C kept shutting off and room became hot.Front desk said the coils tend to freeze up. Took over an hour for A/C to kick back on at night. Tiny bathroom but the comfy beds and flat screen tv made up for that. Nice breakfast buffet. I would stay in this hotel again.

Very Clean, comfortable bed, plenty of room and nice TV to watch on a rainy day. Price varies from one week to another depending on what is going on. Breakfast buffet is a nice treat for free. We booked again in 2 weeks. Hope air conditioner is fixed.

We stayed for one night in Jan. 07. We arrived early and were able to get a room within about 10 minutes. Stayed in King bed taking care of business suite. Looked exactly like the picture online - great room! Elevator was being renovated, but still worked just fine. Walking distance to restaurants. Close to everything.

Front desk particularly X provided excellent service. She was very accomodating to help us out in getting us a rent-a-car and finding places. I think she provided service beyond expectations. The hotel was in renovation so it should make up for the cleanliness when done and completed.

The place is still being renovated on some floors.Beds are super comfy & comfy comforters. All new stuff in room. Big flat panel tv. They skimped on bathroom, which is small & original. Breakfast was ok, great for kids.Staff very nice.

Nice room, clean, loved the breakfast, and the complimentary shuttle to Universal was nice to have. Will return; great deal for the money.

Great hotel for the price. Room was very comfortable and big. Great extras in the room and within walking distance to Universal Studios Orlando!

To say this hotel is "across the street" from Universal is a little deceptive. The parking garage is across the highway, but it's a several block walk to the entrance. We took the shuttle or cabs (between $4- $6). The last shuttle was at 7:30 pm, but even after midnight, cabs were readily available at the park entrance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They are redoing this hotel in 2007. That may put it out of my price range, otherwise I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This Hotel was very nice, we got there at 10:30 am and they had a room ready. Very Clean, very friendly, maid service was great too!Breakfast was great, I saw 4 waffel makers, fruit, cereal, muffins, eggs, bagels etc. They do have a free Shuttle to all the parks, leaving at 9 & 11 a.m and pick ups were 4:30 & 6:30. If you are thinking of walking you do have to cross a very busy intersection then cross at the park where the drivers are crazy, pay the 10.00 fee and drive over or take the shuttle.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights to go to Universal Studios! The hotel has a great location next to Universal Studios and it was easy to find. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast buffet was okay, they need more than one waffle maker and should set up different stations for juice and condiments.

trust me on this one. the front desk service could have been alot better. the elevators never worked. we had to hike 7 flight of stairs and the hallways stunk so bad.

There are more minuses then pluses but considering the price we paid, can't complain. The bathroom tub clogs, the maid service is somewhat lazy (they put a privacy sign on our door & stuck a note through our door saying they couldn't clean our room because of the privacy sign), and the room smells but the breakfast buffet is good, and the location is excellent for Universal Studios.

The Amerisuites was a great hotel. The location is really right across the street from Universal Orlando resort, everything. We had a universal oriented vacation so location was awesome. The breakfast was really good too. The only thing I was dissapointed with was the space, I really thought the room was going to be bigger. It was kinda small, don't let the name fool you. its not that spacious. but it was very clean and pretty. It did not look old at all. Great HOTEL.

It was faster to take the stairs. The elevator was not equipped to handle 300 cheerleaders.

Would hardly call the tiny, cramped room a suite. Bathroom also cramped & dark. Safe and internet cable broken, tub clogged, and no maid service once during our 5 days. Expect to wait at least 5 mins for elevator & another 5 mins inside. Never staying in another Amerisuites again.

Hotel selected for price and close to office building in which I was conducting business. Rooms initially had a stale smell that immediately vanished once the A/C circulated the air. Over all it was a very good place to stay with friendly service personnel.

Hotel was very clean and in a great location. Staff was helpful and informative on all Orlando activities. Pool area and laundry were clean. The breakfast was great. Our room was newly renovated and had plenty of room. Rooms have microwave, fridge, sink and table w/ two chairs. NO COMPLAINTS

my experience was worst than horrible. I had reserved three rooms and the rooms had MILDEW. It was the worst experience i had in a lifetime. We had to go to another hotel in the area.
