Kids will love the Nickelodeon Family Suites. It’s a mini water theme park all by itself with water slides and flumes and a chance to get slimed. Accommodations are reasonably comfortable, but the main attraction is centered at the pools and kids' activities. Children can have their own brightly decorated Nick character suites. Parents will have a hard time tearing them away from the pool and water slides to visit the other Orlando area theme parks. There are several dining options at the hotel, including Nicktoons Café, the Buffet Restaurant, Lagoon Grill and a few fast-food chains.

Designed specifically with kids in mind, this is a great resort for the under 15 age group, especially with larger-than-life themed characters who greet kiddies upon arrival. The restaurant menus and snacks, although convenient, are a bit overpriced and Mom and Dad may prefer to find more reasonably priced alternatives within a few miles of the hotel, such as a good supermarket or even the Marriott right across the street. Nickelodeon Family Suites by Holiday Inn Accommodations

Families will find the two-or three-bedroom suites clean and adequate with kitchenettes, VCR/CD player, and high-speed Internet. No great frills for adults here; however, children can have their own character bedroom decorated with Nickelodeon cartoon people like Dora the Explorer, Boots the Monkey, or Sponge Bob Square Pants, complete with living room, small refrigerator, microwave and a large flat screen TV.

Amenities offered

This is a kids’ resort with parents tagging along. In addition to the age-group pools and water slides (kids can get slimed just like on the show), Studio Nick shows (free for guests) are very popular with live characters. Other amenities include a large game room, basketball court, a fitness center, miniature golf and laundry facilities. At the Character Breakfast, kids can interact with their favorite Nick cartoon figure ($18 per person).
