Enjoyed our Stay - posted on 04/09/2007
Yes, this hotel is still undergoing construction - but the service and staff were brilliant! Great with the kids, rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The upgrades that have already been completed are fantastic. Enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Trade Winds... very ALLERGY friendly TOO!
Loved it!!! - posted on 02/19/2007
The hotel was great, despite the renovations. The hotel was very clean, staff was extremely nice and helpful. I was aware of the renovations beforehand, so I knew that things would be loud (at times) and stores or restaurants would possibly be closed temporarily. When I went there, I was looking for a place just to sleep, so I really didn't use the hotel for my entertainment. If you want to hang around the hotel and be entertained, you might want to consider elsewhere, although they did have some activities going on, just not a lot.

Nice Resort. Currently undergoing renovations, smells of new carpet and paint (nice new clean smell). Enjoyed the pool bar/restaurant. Only complaint would be that the hot water had a sulfur smell.
excellent stay! - posted on 09/02/2006
this hotel was under renovation but you would have never known that! It is turning into a totally non smoking hotel so request a balcony if you are a smoker. service exceeded my expectations in every category, room was cleaned when i went out, did get voice mails on each morning from time share sellers, but just deleted the voice mail and was not bothered again.
Good location - posted on 08/18/2006
Great location. Across the street from SeaWorld and an easy walk to the gate. Spacious rooms. However, guests are charged eight dollars a day for parking. Local phone calls cost one dollar per call. Internet access costs fifteen dollars for four hours' access. Tub did not drain well. Stood in ankle-deep water when I showered. Elevator did not work properly -- refused to go to first floor lobby. Under renovation, and appears to have a long way to go.
Nice hotel - posted on 08/17/2006
This hotel is directly across the street from Sea World. Definately need a car to go anywhere else. In a quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of Int'l drive. Hotel was nice but starting renovations. They cancelled the Sun bruch until renovations are compete and they were getting ready to start renovating the lobby area which would affect the quality of your stay. We got a great price so for us definately worth it. We only noticed some tarps visible from the lobby on the floors they were renovating. Best hotel if you are going to Sea World. 10 min drive from Universal.
Great Value - posted on 08/16/2006
This hotel is a great value for the location and price. It is directly across from SeaWorld, so you can walk there and less crowded than many other Orlando hotels. The rooms are clean and cozy. The pool/Tiki bar area is great too! I would recommend staying here if Sea World is included in you rvacation plans.
Great service! - posted on 08/04/2006
Service was outstanding! Rooms are being updated currently, so we are anxious to see the updates on a return trip. The I-Drive shuttle is in front of the hotel and Sea World is across a parking lot (easy walk). 1 large pool with 2 whirlpools, kiddie pool. All areas very clean. Weakest area is service in restaurant, more novice than expected. Family felt very sercure on property.

We loved this hotel. We had excellent service, from the front desk to the restaurants to the pool area. The indoor atrium is gorgeous, the rooms are large and comfortable, and the pool was wonderful. I would very happily stay here again!

Surprise - posted on 08/23/2005
Hotel exceeded my expectations for this area. Had one couple who wanted to go Seaworld. Booked this hotel because it was close. Not cheap but a good value for the area. Breakfast buffet is well done but does get crowded. Atlantis Restaurant at the hotel is upscale and outstanding, far better than you would expect. Staff friendly passing out champagne at check in. Most of them always helpful. Rare in Orlando.Would stay again.
good choice - posted on 08/01/2005
Lots of hotels in Orlando, This one right next to Seaworld. You can walk there. Atlantis Restaurant is top notch for a special occassion. Breakfast buffer is exceptional. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Not cheap, then Orlando is not anymore. At least here you are getting almost what you pay for. Would stay again? Absolutely.
Great Hotel Review - posted on 06/19/2005
We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds that are big enough for 4 people. The room also had a 2 sink bathroom. The breakfest buffet was great. This is a wonderful hotel with great service, great location(a walking distance to Sea World), a nice pool, and a beautiful lobby. This hotel couldn't possibly get any better.
Quality Choice Near SeaWorld - posted on 01/19/2005
This place is a quality facility. Nothing cheap here. Across the street (still about a 3 block walk) to SeaWorld. Pool out of service during our visit, so call ahead. You won't be disappointed here.
