About the Renaissance Orlando Resort At Seaworld

An impressive hotel on 27 acres near International Drive, the ten-story, 778-room, Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld completed a $21 million renovation in the spring 2007. All rooms overlook a glass-enclosed atrium and lobby with tropical gardens and waterfalls. Check-in staff is friendly and attentive and greet arriving guests with a glass of champagne (children receive a little stuffed SeaWorld Shamu). It’s right across the street from SeaWorld, a five-minute walk. There’s a Starbucks Café for java lovers, cuisine at the restaurants is good and prices are reasonable.

A beautiful resort, it has a lot going for it, especially since the lobby area and all the rooms have been renovated and updated. If possible, it’s best to have an automobile to get around the area. The hotel offers no shuttle service; however, Mears Transportation does provide bus service to and from Walt Disney World for a small fee. Guests can also pick up the I-Drive Trolley right outside the hotel that will take them to restaurants and shopping nearby. Read our customer reviews?

Renaissance Orlando Resort At Seaworld Accommodations

The large comfortably furnished suites, updated in 2006, have 300-thread-count bed sheets, two sinks in the bathroom with luxurious toiletries, a 32-inch flat-panel plasma TV with premium channels, mini-bar, and desk. High-speed Internet access is available for a fee. Try to get a room facing SeaWorld to view the nightly fireworks show from the balcony.

Catering to both business travelers and vacationers, the resort offers a wide range of services and recreational facilities that include a huge pool complex with two Jacuzzis, three restaurants and 24-hour room service, gift shop, full-service fitness center and spa, meeting rooms, child care, laundry facilities, event and wedding planning services, concierge, tennis, volleyball, a children’s playground and game room. There are no kitchenettes in the rooms.
