About the The Peabody Orlando

This is an extremely unique upscale hotel in Orlando Florida. Every day a flock of ducks, which live in the hotel, come parading out to be shown and fed. They come downstairs with their keeper and walk on their own personal red carpet. It is a big hit with the kids. Uniqueness aside, it also happens to be one of only two Mobil Four-Star, AAA Four Diamond hotels in Orlando and is extremely close to the Orange County Convention Center for those traveling on business.

Although there have been some complaints about the quality of the rooms and the staff not being quite as cordial, as some would like, I have always found this to be a charming hotel. It is slightly older than many in the Orlando area so perhaps the rooms need to be updated a bit, but there is a definite sense of style and elegance at the Peabody. My family has been coming here for years and the staff has always been pleasant and efficient. The choice of restaurants is wonderful, as well. And it is so convenient to most local attractions. The Peabody Orlando Accommodations

The rooms vary from Superior to VIP level suites. 2 Double beds or 1 king bed is standard. High-speed Internet, voice mail, speaker phones, and teleconference capabilities are all available as is Premium-cable and network TV. There are also mini TVs in the bathrooms.

* Take 1-95 to Toll Road 528 WEST. Head WEST on Toll Road 528 to Exit #1/ Int'l Dr/ Convention Ctr.
