A very nice place to stay when visiting Disney. If you are not staying on the Disney Grounds this hotel is ideal, its just a mile away from the park, and for me an easy drive, but they offered free shuttle service. The place offers nice sized suites with everything you need, we had a mini freezer, a microwave and sink in the living area, and a huge bedroom. Great pool and waterslides. The staff was all very friendly, that was a big plus.
Great Experience - posted on 07/08/2005
I came here with a group of about 15 people and we comfortably got all of us into two suites. They were large and comfortable. The outside facilities were impressive, especially the lobby and pool area. The service at the pool and pool-side bar were wonderful, and we stayed out on the pool deck just talking until almost 3 am without anyone bothering us. This is a great hotel
GREAT hotel - posted on 06/03/2005
This hotel is so much better than in the pictures! Usually that is not true, but in this case it is. The rooms...well anyway in tower I were lovely! There was even a shuttle to Disney World from the hotel, which is a must if you're not familiar with the Disney area. We enjoyed Disney so much, but I wish we could have spent more time at the Caribe Royale it was so nice.

This hotel was VERY nice. The rooms were lovely(we stayed in the suite). The service was great. When we arrived in our room we saw there was a message on the hotel phone and it was asking if everything was okay and if we needed anything. All of the hotels facilities are great. The beds were very clean and comfortable. And also when you are planning to go to WDW you want your hotel to have a shuttle. The shuttle saves you $10 for parking and a lot of road confusion. This hotel is just GREAT all around!

This is a great hotel, we stayed there for 5 days, the rooms are spacious, pool is great for all ages, and location location location, it is VERY close to the Disney Parks! :o)
Superb Property - posted on 03/29/2005
The Pool was wonderful, buffet breakfast was great, rooms were very spacious and clean. Housekeeping could have done a lot better, I shouldnt have had to call for towels. Disney is VERY close and convenient. Great Value for your money. We would definately stay here again.

We had a lovely 1 week stay at this Hotel. The property is very well maintained and the room and common areas very clean. I found the staff very helpful and friendly, even the "salesman" at the information desk by the elevator was helpful. Dont be duped, theyre main goal is to rope you into a timeshare sales pitch but there nice about it; I dont think they really work for the hotel. If you need non-biased info ask the front desk instead.
15 Minutes Away from Everything! - posted on 04/26/2007
I was very happy with the resort. It was 15 minutes away from the Disney parks and Outlets. It didn't have the full Disney feel which I liked because after 8 to 10 hours of being in the parks, you have that resting period. The outlets were literally 10 minutes away which was wonderful for shop-a-holics like myself. I loved the fact that the pool had a water slide and reminded me of the flashy pools in the Caribbean. I think this resort is best for young couples that love the Disney parks and love to shop.

Pretty in Pink - posted on 04/18/2007
I gotta' admit, the Caribe Royale is one beautiful hotel. Those pink towers stand out on the horizon and make it easy to find. The Pool with the waterslide is by far the best feature, but they could leave the poolside Cabana open just a little longer. Disneyworld, and the other theme parks are just minutes away, but I still recommend that you rent a car. The cruise up International Drive alone is worth it. However the staff was very friendly.
Very Pleased - posted on 04/12/2007
All around great hotel-clean, good service and friendly. I agree with one review that they need more shuttles to the theme parks but I would recommend that you rent a car. The maps are deceiving, sites are very spread out and far from hotel, not enough shuttles and each cab ride $25-$30 so I ended up renting a car at hotel which has onsite rental service (yeah, they know you'll end up renting as well so rent from airport and start the convenience and savings from there).
Great return on investment - posted on 04/08/2007
First the pluses: the suites were spacious. seperate den, two tv sets, microwave, fridge, clean, comfortable beds, well kept, very modern decor and upscale. the minuses: internet is not free and should be. no wireless in rooms, parking sucks, very pricey restaurants, kid's meals were about $8 for chicken fingers & fries. pool was extremely crowded. not enough seating around pool. Overall a great stay. a few things could be fixed, but not enough to upset your stay. could have stayed longer. Caribe will not dissapoint you. Well worth the money!
Close to Disney without the HYPE - posted on 03/23/2007
Stayed for a week for a conference. Nice business facilities. Close to Disney. Pool and gym were great. Game room. Quiet considering the size. Nice for a family, especially for conference "tags alongs". Restaurants were a bit pricey, but large frig in the room. Cheaper places to eat across the street. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Grounds were meticulous.
Very nice accomodations - posted on 02/28/2007
The hotel is ~1 mile from the entrance to Disney World. Our room was was spacious and tastefully decorated. The grounds and facilities appeared to be well maintained and the staff was friendly. The kids loved the pool slide and we liked the gym. An excellent deal for the money, when compared to the price of Disney World properties. They definitely need more frequent shuttle departure and pick up times. The shuttle ride takes an hour to make the trip to all 4 parks; not a fun ride at the end of a long day. If you have small children, I recommend paying $10 for parking instead.

WHAT A WONDER PLACE! - posted on 08/14/2006
Caribe is a wonderful place for everyone. The staff is very tentative in everyway! You will not want to leave nor stay any other place in Orlando! Location is the key and this resort is in the perfect place. So if you decide to stay enjoy because I will be back over and over!

good luck if you choose this hotel! - posted on 07/31/2006
Rooms were in poor repair (holes in towels, sheets didn't fit the beds, rooms looked in need of updating). Staff was extremely rude (unless you like eye-rolling). Shuttles to Disney are at very inconvenient times. Most of our group ended up driving and paying the parking fees so we weren't at the mercy of their schedules.

Hotel good for all ages. Attentive staff, recreation for children & teens. Straight shot to Disney, minutes from Universal. Room pricing competitive for area, more for your $ as many hotel rooms are priced at Caribe's villa pricing. All accommodations are great. Villas are best bet if children are in party or for 2 couples, plenty room for all. GIVE CARIBE ROYALE A TRY, YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID!!!
Better than expected - posted on 06/24/2006
Good size suite, 2 tv's, door to divide the rooms, mini-fridge, microwave and kitchen sink. Everything clean and mostly on the newer side. The pool is a little small for this size resort, and parking is a challenge some nights.

The Caribe Royale was gorgeous! It is located a mile from Disney World...It was just the right amount of romantic, my fiancee and i loved it, but it also was great for our 6 year old son. It was the perfect vacation we're going back this year!
great pool - posted on 05/06/2006
we really enjoyed our stay at the caribe, the pool was great and the pool staff very helpful. the poolside bar was reasonably priced. the rooms were nice although it would have been nice to have a larger kitchen area, the beds were very comfortable. It was great that there was no time closure for the pool, so when you come back from the parks you can go for a swim if you have any energy left. Could have done with more parasols at pool area but plenty of room around the pool (no fighting for a sun bed) overall a great hotel.

Was absolutely shocked at how pretty the Hotel and how friendly the staff were. True Southern Hospitality! The kids loved the pool area with the water slide. Very nice rooms, comfortable beds and roomy. Loved the close proximity to Disney. Very reasonable prices.

Good, but could be better - posted on 04/18/2006
Not a bad place to stay, but some areas could improve. Property is close to DWR & outer appearance is breathtaking; several restaurants on site (although somewhat pricey). Rooms were small but nice, beds were not Queen (as advertised), but Full size. Service not very responsive (had to make 4 calls at 1 a.m. to receive extra bath towels, soap, etc). I would return, but probably to a Villa vs. a suite.

Very Nice Hotel - posted on 04/03/2006
The suite was very nice with a nice view of the pool area. Everything was very clean and well kept. The pool and area around it was very nice. the pool is very big with a waterfall and a water slide. The water was a little cold, but we were there at the end of March. If they heated the pool it would have been fantastic. The hotel is very close to the I-4 and the Disney World property. Wish I had more time to enjoy the hotel. Overall I was very impressed and would definately recommend this hotel to everyone. I will be coming back in the future.

We couldn't wait to stay here. It looked so nice. The pool was great, but the area around the pool was dirty and so were the 2 hot tubs! The food was horrible, and so was the price of it. The shuttles to Disney absolutely STUNK! We were left behind at the parks twice because the driver didn't bother to pull into the lot because he thought no-one was waiting. If you have a large family like me, stay in Disney...this hotel isn't near anything at all.
Overall a good experience - posted on 10/12/2005
The hotel was convenient to the attractions and the free shuttle was great. The only complaint would be the cost of meals, especially breakfast. You can go across the street to the Ponderosa for a $4.99 breakfast buffet. It would've been nice to stay at the hotel.
Great Stay - posted on 09/11/2005
The rooms were very clean, although noisy. The house keeping staff were very loud in the halls every morning. The towels were VERY rough, especially after getting sunburned. The pool area was very busy, but very nice. The lounge was enjoyable, especially the piano player in the evening. They have the perfect set up to offer a continental breakfast, but they don't. That would have been nice. Lots of convention guests. Close to everything, especially the parks, restaurants and outlet malls.
