This hotel is a true resort with every amenity that you would want. I wish that we had stayed for a week so that we could have taken advantage of all the hotel had to offer. The staff were not concerned about their role, they were focused on meeting the customer needs regardless of what their normal duties might have been. Truly fantastic.

The pool was open 24 hours and it was awesome

The hotel grounds and lobby is a tropical paradise. The pool is beautiful with the boulders, swim through cave and waterfalls. The amenity charge is well worth what you get. Unfortunately I was stung with an $18.00 per day valet charge. Can't wait to go back though.

We could see fireworks every night from our room.

If you leave the hotel grounds the traffic is terrible.

This particular hotel met our family needs and wants. We live in Tampa. We wanted to get away but not far. This was extremely relaxing and enjoyable! We loved it!

We were amazed at all of the activities to do that were not extra.

I can not think of one thing that we did not like.

Architecturally, the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is a very impressive 1,500-acre tropical resort at Lake Buena Vista near Walt Disney World that lives up to its name. Catering to business travelers and families on vacation, the main attraction is water and more water--lagoon-style playground, lake, lots of waterfalls (12), two water slides, three whirlpools, grottos and caves. But theres also an outstanding variety of indoor and outdoor recreational facilities rarely offered by other resorts, along with six restaurants and cafes that make this destination resort a hit with guests of all ages.

Room décor is "resort style" and may be considered a bit outdated; however, furnishings in every suite are comfortable, beds have pillow-top mattresses, and private baths are stocked with luxury toiletries. Each suite has a small balcony, and if possible, reserve a room high enough to face Disney Worlds spectacular nightly fireworks.

Staying in your room for the day is not an optiontheres too much to see and do with something for everyone. Take advantage of the terrific amenities: tennis, horse-back riding, 45-hole pitch and putt golfing, private beach by the lake, 45-acre nature preserve and trails, biking, canoeing and kayaking, spa and salon services and state-of-the-art fitness center. Child care services and a kids camp are available so Mom and Dad can get a break, and theres complimentary shuttle service to nearby theme parks 6:30am-11pm.

There are many more excellent amenities and services guests can enjoy including friendly, multilingual staff, concierge services, airport shuttle service, shops and floral services, and 24-hour business services to name only a few. Take a stroll through the gorgeous lobbies, along the scenic nature trails and enjoy the breathtaking views of the city from the top of the resort or watch the sun go down.
