Great hotel - posted on 06/01/2006

We enjoy going to the hotel because it is comfortable. Great location and the fellow that cooks the breakfast is the best. He is funny, very friendly and a great cook.

Great hotel - posted on 05/18/2007

We stayed here last summer and loved it, kids loved the pool and gameroom, the service was great, housekeeping even folded my baby's blankets. The only negative was breakfast because it was too crowed even though we went later in the morning and there was no where to sit, had to sit by the pool to eat. Love the carribean music at the pool and dive in theatre. We are going back next month. Great location to all the theme parks too! Great price too. If you wait a little late to book it has been my experience that they usually lower the rate.

hotel was not quite finished and it showed in the level of service. I was locked out of my room 3 times in one day!

Not worth the money - posted on 01/08/2007

I booked this hotel because it was close to Disney, it included a breakfast, it had a shuttle service to Disney and it had a 4 smiley face rating. I won't be staying there again. The first room they gave us was at the motel section of the hotel (yes, they have an outside motel section). When we arrive the door was already opened and the room (non-smoking) smelled like smoke. Also, the breakfast wasn't terrible (as far as taste)! The one thing that was positive was the shuttle to Disney, but keep in mind we were there after Disney's peak time of the year.
Needs Improvement: breakfast, cleanliness

Perfect place to stay - posted on 09/24/2006

Everyone at the hotel was wonderful. From the front desk to the bar to the kitchen manager who hand made chocolate milk just to please my 4 year old. It was very clean and wonderful to arrive back too. I would highly recommend to everyone.

5 star customer service - posted on 09/07/2006

Very pleased with the 5 star customer service. Cooked to order breakfast and 2 hour cocktail party nightly were wonderful. Pool was very clean and lounge chairs adequate. Room was larger than expected. Could have used a few utensils and dishes in the mini kitchen. Great location. Even the guests were friendly. Couldn't ask for more. Will definitely return here. Felt they really want my business.

Great value - posted on 08/09/2006

Close to parks, large rooms, free breakfast. Can't go wrong here. This is NOT a luxury hotel as one can judge by the price. However, it is a wonderful place to stay with kids. Yes, some areas of the hotel look worn. And our room smelled a bit mildew-y. Housekeeping was a bit slow, also.

well worth the money - posted on 07/04/2006

We always stay at Embassy Suites when going on vacations. I was not sure after reading some of the reviews if I wanted to stay at this hotel. I am glad that we did not believe everything we read. This hotel was clean, has a very friendlly staff, and is very close to shops. We had a poolside room and it was convenient, to come back from the parks and then relax at the pool. I would definately stay here again. Where else can you get a breakfast and coctails in the evening. The furniture and bathrooms could use some updating, but like any other hotel, they all can.

Adequate but pricey - posted on 06/17/2006

The tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts a plus. You may opt to put your pet in a kennel at the Disney Attractions for $9.00 a day,but you have to be able to take the time to walk your pet 3 times thru-out the day.The charge of $25.00 a day for a pet to stay in your hotel room is a little steep. You can find other pet-friendly hotels in the Area that are less expensive, but for a family of 5,the free breakfast and cocktail reception from makes up for the extra $.Would have liked more shuttle options to and from the parks.I would stay there again.

Do not understand complaints - posted on 05/08/2006

Hotel was in very good condition, we stayed in the main section. I stay often at Embassy Suites and found the hotel to be in very good shape and the staff very helpful. I was doing work on my laptop at the pool early in the morning drinking coffee and one of the breakfast staff brought me over a coffe seeing that I was almost out. I love the set up of Embassy Suites as I have a boy & Girl Teenagers and we have room for all to sleep without buying another room.

Stay Away from BLDG. 1! - posted on 03/06/2006

I guess the other reviewers didn't stay in Bldg 1, like we did. The room was filthy. We had a sugar ant infestation in our master suite, and on the day before we left, my mom saw a live ROACH crawling in her underwear drawer. This place was absolutely DEPLORABLE!

Good Outweighs the Average - posted on 02/06/2006

This hotel appears to have been built in perhaps the late 80's or early 90's and it's about time for a room overhaul. The beds and furniture were worn, no doubt from heavy use in the Orlando area, but they were clean and the staff was very helpful. The pool, patio, and breakfast were excellent, though, my kids loved it. I'd stay there again

Somewhat Disappointed - posted on 01/22/2006

The room was great - extremely comfortable, clean and the staff was helpful. Public areas and amenities are sorely lacking. Cracks in the plaster, chipped concrete and cracked paint are not common for a Hilton Hotel. There is no dedicated restaurant (misleading) and breakfast was very disappointing (basic, inexpensive fare). Having stayed at many Embassy Suites, this was a grave disappointment.

Forget any HHonors perks - posted on 10/30/2005

Title says it all. HHonors Diamond & Gold beware. Not only could I not get better accommodations, I didn't even get what I had a guaranteed reservation for....Ok, hotel allows dogs, not my thing. Everywhere you go fido is running around, barking, coming up to you to lick your leg etc...Free breakfast is probably better for our K9 friends than us. Staff was nice, but with many their English was pretty poor. I went in expecting more from this hotel. Rooms are older, but clean. Shower water pressure-low. Bed somewhat comfortable, decent night?s sleep. Sadly, I was disappointed.

Best Hotel in Area - posted on 08/22/2005

I too have used this hotel many times and I am a 3x a year traveler that goes to WDW. I have stayed at many places, but this one stands out in my mind. I always check with this hotel first for availability. The Only bad thing is dinner at the resort. Breakfest is TOP notch. Love the cook.. He was always sweet to everyone! Hope he never leaves this hotel.. This hotel is very clean for its age and location is great. Love the LBV area.

Nice location - posted on 08/09/2005

Hotel has been expanded; however service area for Breakfast has not - resulting in lines. Road noise in Rooms facing 8 lane I-4 (less than 100' away). Shuttle service is hourly to alternating Disney Parks - no shuttle to Downtown Disney. Great Staff, clean rooms, hard beds. Hotel OK if you get a good price. Would stay again.

Travel Agent Stay - posted on 08/09/2005

As a travel agent, I'm very picky about which hotel i have my family stay at. Upon check-in, a bellhop gave my kids a ride on the luggage cart and made them feel very happy. That's all I needed to give this awesome hotel a thumbs up!
