The 123-room Courtyard by Marriott Orlando East At University of Central Florida is located at the entrance of the university and provides quality accommodation for both the business and leisure traveler. The four-story, non-smoking property is close to the headquarters of Siemens and the Orlando’s Research Business Park. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel is close to three golf courses and within easy driving distance of Disney World and the numerous Orlando theme parks. The hotel has two meeting rooms for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 35 guests.

Parents, who stayed at this Courtyard so they could visit their sons and daughters studying at UCF, said they received excellent attention from the hotel’s employees. There were good comments about cozy, comfortable accommodation and an affordable all-you-can-eat breakfast. All the guestrooms, and four suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, cable television with movie and news channels, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and telephone with voicemail. Some rooms and all the suites have balconies. The suites have the added benefit of a microwave oven and refrigerator.

The Courtyard Café is open for breakfast and there is The Market on-site, which is open 24/7 with a full range of snacks, sandwiches and beverages. There are restaurants within walking distance of the property including an Applebees, Boston Market and Fire House Subs. The hotel has an outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a business center, an ATM, coin-operated laundry, valet dry-cleaning and vending machines.

From Orlando International Airport (MCO) 17 miles: Follow 528 E four miles to 417 N. Follow 417 N to exit 37A (University Boulevard East). Follow University Boulevard two miles. The hotel is located just off University Boulevard on the right (behind Burger King).
