The hotel was beautiful, the view of the Port of Miami was breathtaking but the extra amenities were quite pricey and there was nowhere else to get coffee early in the AM so room service was it and the $18 price tag seemed a bit extreme.

Since we were taking a cruise the location and view were fabulous!

The price for a pot of coffee in the AM was $18.00

The 641-room InterContinental Miami enjoys stunning views of Biscayne Bay and provides luxury accommodation for the upmarket business and pleasure traveler. There are 30 meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 2,000 guests. The 34-story property is 7.5 miles from Miamis International Airport and 25 miles from Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Area landmarks and attractions include the Atlantic coast beaches, numerous golf courses, South Beach and the Art Deco District, the Port of Miami, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Parrot Jungle, the Miami Seaquarium and shopping at the Dadeland Mall.

Business travelers looking for luxury, and prepared to pay the price said this InterContinental was the place to stay in Miami. The location in the citys financial district was ideal and the rooms were stylish and spacious. Several couples said they found attractive rates for a weekend getaway and they were impressed with the marble lobby and expansive atrium. Dining here was excellent but again it was expensive. Most clients said they would stay here again even if it cost them dearly.
