I was able to book this hotel at the VERY last minute as we waited at the airport for our other hotel which never showed up. The front desk was very nice and he gave us a great rate. Since this is a Carnival Pre-Cruise hotel, be prepared to wait a minute at the airport for pick up and for check in. Tip: Go to the very beginning of the pick up lane if you are in a hurry and want to quickly get to the hotel. It was a great room, even though all they had was smoking, and I would suggest it for my clients.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Miami Airport in December for a pre cruise stay, and loved the free transportation to the Port of Miami and free pick up from the Airport. The hotel is in good shape and the service was more than I expected from an Airport Hotel. The views from the Restaurant located on the 9th floor are amazing specially at night.

Very close to MIA airport but first room we were given hadn?t been serviced, the next had water pouring from the bathroom ceiling at 12.30am requiring another room change. Most of the staff were great though a couple had attitude. There must be better options!

We stayed at the hotel a day before our cruise. They were very helpful in finding malls, etc. I made a mistake in leaving important documents in my room after checking out. Come find out, housekeeping safely secure my documents upon finding them and I was speedly traveled to the port to start my vacation. Helpful and honest people at this hotel. will stay again on my next visit to MIA.

The hotel just wait outside and flag a white Holiday Inn Van down and they will pick you up. But there are 4 different hotel vans. Expect to wait 45min.+. We stayed here because read about Free van to Airport/Port ,but they will not pick you back up at port !! We read a review on another site that they shuttle you both ways to/from port, but they don't.They told us that it was against some law to pick up anyone at the Port. .

This is a really nice hotel. The staff is nice and is multi-lingual. The only downfall i had seen is no snack machine in this hotel, but otherwise very nice. It's not close to the beach if you don't have a rental car and tax is about $20 to get to beach or local mall. I will stay here again.

Words cannot express the service this hotel gives. The rooms are very nice and feels like home. Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous. We went down as a group to go on a cruise. They provided transportation from the airport and to the port for the cruise at no additional cost. We had no transportation to dinner that night and they offered to take us to a restaurant for dinner at no charge. I will definitely stay there again when in the Miami area.

We needed a hotel to stay at before out cruise. We choose this one because it offered complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. The only draw back was that we weren't quite sure where to get the shuttle (little info at airport) and we had to wait about 45 minutesfor it to show up, but it still beat paying for a cab. The hotel was clean, and the dining room was very nice. Their gym was a little lacking - it only had 2 tredmills and 2 bikes. It also provided shuttle service to the port which was very convenient.

When we checked into the hotel we were informed that the regular elevators were not working. We were given a room on the first floor. The restaurant was on the ninth floor. We had to use the service elevator. Service at the restuarant was painfully slow. Two of us ordered salad entrees. One of us did not get salad dressing until the third request. My salad was so slow in coming that by the time I got it I was more tired than hungry and left to go back to the room to shower and sleep. Unfortunately, the hot water faucet was broken and we had three separate visits from the maintenance person before it was able to be used. Not my best experience with a hotel. Would be unable to recommend this hotel to others.
