The 122-room Courtyard by Marriott Miami Airport is located one mile from the airport and provides a complimentary shuttle. Other items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The non-smoking, five-story hotel has 14 rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 400 guests. The Courtyard is attached to a full-service Marriott Hotel. Area landmarks and attractions include four golf course within a nine-mile radius, downtown Miami and Miami Beach, Pro Player Stadium, Miami Metro Zoo, Parrott Jungle, Bal Harbor Shops and the Miami Seaquarium.

This Courtyard gets good reviews for its reasonable rates, comfortable, clean rooms, and location close to the airport. Many clients used this hotel prior to taking a cruise from the Port of Miami and said it worked well. There were complaints about the charge for parking which many thought should be complimentary for registered guests. There were good comments about breakfast around the pool. All the guestrooms have a large work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, VCR player, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and cordless telephone with voicemail.

The Courtyard Café is open for breakfast and guests can use the dining facilities at the adjoining Marriott hotel, which include the Pitcher’s Lounge, a sports bar, and the Veranda Grill, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service is available from 6am until midnight. The Courtyard has an outdoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness center. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a full service business center, coin-operated laundry, valet dry-cleaning, an ATM, picnic area with barbecue grill and a gift shop and newsstand.
