It was a great experience, although I had to wait for over 1 hour to get the shuttle to the hotel from the airport. I had to call the airport 3 times.

It was convenient to reach the port for the cruise because they provide a shuttle service

I asked for a non-smoking room and was given one that reeked of smoke

The 133-room Courtyard Miami Airport West/Doral provides quality accommodation at a reasonable price for both the business and leisure traveler. The four-story, non-smoking hotel is five miles from the airport and provides a complimentary shuttle. Other items included in the room rates are high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The property has two meeting rooms for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 45 guests. The hotel is close to the Doral Golf and Country Club and two miles from the Merchandise Mart and Expo Center. Other area attractions include downtown Miami and Miami Beach, Pro Player Stadium, Miami Metro Zoo, Parrott Jungle, Bal Harbor Shops and the Miami Seaquarium.

There is a choice of one king-size bed or two doubles. The suites have a separate living room and a king-size bed.

Frequent visitors to Miami say this is one of the best airport hotels with a friendly and efficient crew of employees. There were good reviews about the bright décor and comfortable beds. Several noted that parking here was complimentary while other Marriott properties in the area made a charge. Big bonus for golfers: The hotel is only half a mile away from the championship courses at Doral.
