I went to the Hotel Chelsea for a romantic getaway with my boyfriend. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. Front desk was very helpful for planning day trips. The hotel was very romantic and in a very happening part of town. I would suggest this hotel to anyone who wants to have fun on a budget on the beach.

Heavy moldy smell. Attractive room update, but nothing else. Reserved valet parking for a late arrival - never came to get the car, two people were waiting ahead of us for more than an hour. we had better luck finding street parking at 1am. No privacy - bamboos shades were see thru..didn't realize until I was half undressed...sigh. Only good thing...it's right on the main strip. Most underwhelming experience.

My boyfriend and I stayed here last year and we are going back in 2 weeks. I loved everything about this hotel. Perfect location and very clean and modern rooms. I would recommend this hotel to anyone without a doubt!!

The Chelsea is a trendy hotel with a very cool vibe. The atmosphere is relaxed due to the Asian inspired d?r. The rooms offer a quiet, peaceful resting spot and the slate bathrooms are gorgeous. The showers are excellent and spacious. The location is great because the hotel is nearby cool restaurants and clubs.

Front desk wasn't the best. We had to wait an hour to check in even though we arrived at 3pm. They comped us with late check out though. Location is fantastic and the bar staff is great. Be aware, freebies at happy hour consists of vodka mixes only and brkfst is toast and pound cake (dinner was much better). It's right across from club Bed (celebrity central), we had a blast!! Parking is 20/day for valet (most likely won't find long-term parking nearby)

Stayed for a whole week in this hotel and deciden NEVER to come back again. Have stayed in many other hotels in SoBe and this was the worst exparience ever. Staff was rude, hotel noisy, rooms small with almost no closet space at all, hallways dark. The only positive thing about this hotel was it?s location. (And they charged an extra $5/day for it as a resort fee when checking out). A total rip-off. Even if this was the last available hotel in SoBe don?t come here -Unless you?re a student on spring break...

Hotel Chelsea in the heart of South Beach gets an A+ me. We were vacationing in Miami and found this on the net. They had everything we could have wanted in a beach hotel. It was the perfect get-a-way. We had so much help from the staff. The guy at the front desk told us about great places to visit while we were in town, and the bartender gave us great tips. She also served us free drinks at happy hour. Seriously where else in all of Miami can you get free drinks!!!! I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice thing was the free breakfast and good coffee:) But...The hotel -or shoud I say motel- itself was sooo bad to be quite honest:( We tried to spend ther as little time as possible. You didn?t even got a good nite sleep because of drunken youngsters running on hallways making noice. Then the extra $5 resort fee... you gotta be kidding me!!! And the personnel spent more time on phone than doing their job. Gonna come to SoBe on july again but never again to this place!!
