The Standard Miami, adjacent to the Biscayne Bay, is within walking distance of South Beach, Lincoln Road Pedestrian Mall, Bass Museum of Art, Jackie Gleason Theater of the Performing Arts, Atlantic Ocean Beach and Miami Beach Convention Center. This hotel has some unique rules: only guests above 14 are welcomed; cell phones can not be used in public areas except locker rooms and bayside docks; you can talk only in “spa voices” in public areas; and smoking is only permitted in smoking rooms. The hotel offers yoga sessions and elaborate spa services for complete relaxation. Guests can take advantage of complimentary wireless Internet, breakfast on weekdays, and outdoor pools.

This contemporary hotel provides a complete range of facilities for a memorable stay. Almost all guests raved about spa facility. Many of them also liked its location, food at the onsite restaurant, Hamam, pools, and elegant rooms. However, service was inconsistent and sub-standard. You can choose from Missionary, Dry Medium, Dry Large, Lush Medium, Lush Large, Wet Medium, Wet Large, Wet X-large and Full Spread rooms. Missionary rooms, covering 230-300 square feet of floor area, feature tall blonde wood beds, flat screen televisions, CD players, DVD libraries, luxury pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets, cozy robes and spa showers.

The Bayside Grill and Lido Restaurant serve Mediterranean-inspired menu and bio-dynamic and organic wines. You can enjoy traditional bathhouse rituals and select a “Do-It-Yourself” hydrotherapy at the onsite spa. There is Mud Lounge, Roman Waterfall Hot Tub, Sound Pool, Cedar Sauna, Aroma Steam Room and Hamam to relax and rejuvenate.
