About the Barbizon South Beach Hotel

For guests that like an ecletic, unique boutique hotel the Barbizon is sure to deliver. This historic hotel was built in 1937 by one of Miami's premier Art Deco architect, Herny Hohauser. The hotel is a reminder of the the Great Gatsby and the roaring thirties. This all suite hotel is located on historic Ocean Drive, directly across the street from the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Guests will enjoy shopping at the trendy boutiques or sipping a martini at one of the many nightclubs on Collins Avenue, which is only one block away. There are plenty of restaurants and galleries a short cab drive from the hotel. The hotel was recently restored and turned into a condo hotel with large rooms and full kitchens. A special treat for guests is the Continental breakfast and full lunch that are included in the price of the room.

Guests loved this hotel. The rooms are large and spacious. Having a kitchen is always a nice extra in the hotel room. Every guests indicates that they would return to this hotel. Barbizon South Beach Hotel Accommodations

These apartment style hotel rooms are perfect for the guest that is looking for an interesting boutique hotel. Guests should make sure they have made arrangements for check in as the front desk is not always open. However if you need to wait a moment you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Those that drove to the hotel will enjoy having their car valet parked for them.

Given that this is a condo hotel, every room is decorated differently. However each room is quite large and spacious and has a full kitchen. Should you want to stay inside and surf the net instead of the waves internet service is available. Guests will enjoy waking up to the sound of the ocean and the Miami Herald on the doorstep. Studio suites have a queen sized bed while larger suites include a sofa bed. The hotel gives guests plenty of towels and toiletries. Guests can open up their windows and enjoy the scent and sound of the ocean.
