Located right on the beach it is ideal if you need to be as close to the beach as you can without spending a fortune. The rooms are small and not in the best condition. It is on the beach so you may expect some wear and tear but for the price they should offer more. Also, the staff isn't always pleasant and the hidden costs that pop up may make you wish you had stayed at another hotel.
Look at what is important to you. If you need large rooms and excellent service you may want to go elsewhere but if the beach and being near Ocean Drive is top priority than it may be worth considering. Decide for yourself. Read our customer reviews?

Savoy Hotel Accommodations

The rooms are smaller than you would expect after looking at the website. They are fairly clean, have in room safes, free 1-800 and local calls, and same day dry cleaning services, room service and cotton terry cloth robes. Many of the suites have terraces.

Amenities offered

Two pools plus a kid free zone provide a pleasant way to spend the afternoon. You can also walk down to the beach. Poolside spa services are also available to help you relax. Love to exercise? Try their fitness center, and afterwards have a snack at the Savoy Bar & Grill. You can also walk a few blocks to the local cafes and night life. Driving on Ocean Drive is not something you want to do, so being able to walk is a distinct advantage.

Exit Airport to Le Jeune Road South (turn right) to Route 836 East
Route 836 straight becomes Route 395 (Macarthur Causeway)
Causeway becomes South Beach's 5th Street to Ocean Drive (turn right)
The hotel is one-half block on the left
