If you were just traveling and not participating in any conference, it was just a place to sleep.

It was close to my destination.

Overall it was a nice place to stay and reasonably priced. I think they could do a little better with making things like coffee, etc. Available any time of the day, and a microwave to warm food during the breakfast hours.

It had all the amenities I was looking for in a hotel.

There was construction going on and pool had debris in it.

Clean rooms and public areas, friendly accommodating staff. Bed was extremely comfortable.

King size bed was very comfortable.

Elevator took too long to pick you up.

The Holiday Inn Melbourne-Viera recently came under new ownership in 2007. And oh boy, can you tell the difference! What was once a tired, neglected property has now become a diamond in the rough after major interior/exterior renovations. In a year's time, this property has received an 'Excellent' rating from Holiday Inn due to scores provided by guest satisfaction. Located off Interstate 95, this property is convenient for both leisure and business travelers alike. Most area corporations such as Harris, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Rockwell, Patrick Air Force Base, and NASA are a short drive away. As are area attractions which include 72-miles of pristine beaches, Kennedy Space Center, Brevard Zoo, Viera East Golf Course, the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, The Avenue Viera retail center, and Port Canaveral.
